mosquitos are rampant at night, needed bug spray or something to help! Also, upon leaving I was charged $20usd for towels because they had make up on them? For a hotel to this standard this is crazy, this is not an airbnb! It could easily be washed off

The staff was nice but adding more experienced staff, better trained for customer relations, would level up the overall experience in this hotel.

The location is rather good although a bit far away from the historical center. The hotel is kept really clean, the pool is nice and the included breakfast was enjoyable.

The property needs some attention. Parts look a little run down. My biggest complaint is that the spa was closed. This was an advertised amenity that we were looking forward to using.

No relaxation and rest at night,because of the noisy ballroom next door that had weekend events till 3-4oclock in the morning.and the hotel management didn’t do anything about it.the bar and restaurant at the pool were understaffed,slow and disorganized.it took almost an hour to receive your orders and there weren’t even that many guests. The rooms were outdated,shower cabin was too small and tv was a 15inch pc monitor.

The pool was the highlight.garden was well taken care of.

There were no bathroom mats on the floor when u come out of it its all wet floor and I coulnd't get a late check out, the frontdesk lady did not even hesitate or apologise that we could not get a late check out. Just with an attitude like, no we are fully booked and it is not possible. Just like that. A bigger playground for the kids with terras sets would be great, more beach beds with umbrella because the sun! But overall good!

No gym . Also The breakfast, just little disappointed . I was expecting more food like bacon, pancakes…also the 1st room we add , my boyfriend has been sick and was allergic to mold . The bathroom had plenty of mold but the staff was able to give us another room

Unfortunately they had an issue during our stay so we didn't have water in our room for almost two hours. I did ask them to compensate it with a complimentary late checkout, which they approved. Their breakfast is very basic and not impressive. The entrance of the shower cabinet is not for plus-size or pregnant women. It's quite small.

Jacana gives you the ability to experience nature in the heart of the city'.. that's why we always go back. The pool deck staff is friendly as always. So was the lady who checked us in.

If you bought food and want to eat it at the pool side then forget about it because if you haven't purchased it from Jacana restaurant then you have to take it to your room. This is really outrageous and the enitre family was so disappointed because we just wanted to chill at the poolside and eat.

2nd day of my 3 night stay, the ac unit started to leak inside the room . They brought towils immediately, and until i left, it was never addressed.
