Maybe just one small tricky thing was the final part of the road to the Vila, but that belongs to Stiavnica

It was super nice, people were really helpful, breakfast was super juicy and there were many options and everything was super clean.

There is a narrow and steep entryway to the hotel, but apart from that, it's a really great place to stay.

The rooms are spacious,clean and really comfortable. The hotel is at a quiet place, but only a short walk from the city center.

We had a wonderful stay at Vila Magnolia. The property and our room were beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. I especially want to highlight how pristine the shower was(!) Although the weather wasn’t ideal during our vacation, I can imagine that on a nicer day, you’d enjoy the outdoor seating area or the kids’ playground, as the location is peaceful and quiet. The on-site parking was a huge advantage which you will certainly appreciate when coming to Banská Štiavnica by car.

The town itself was kinda rough with homeless but fortunately the hotel was up on a hill and hated.

The windows don't have nets so A LOT of bugs come fly in while the windows are open. It was. Hot night so we opened all the windows and the whole apartment was full of them.

We had an amazing apartment, very spacious, quiet, great view, and well equipped. Beatuful bathroom. The yard is an awesome place for kids the play, they wanted to stay there for hours. We had a good breakfast at the villa.

Only thing is the wifi. The bandwidth is almost useless. Even for browsing.

The location is superb. Close to the town center but far enough to avoid the crowds. Pleasant atmosphere of the building and rooms. Facilities outside. The shower was excellent.

The rooms are clean and cosy, the whole area of the vila was spacious and beautiful with garden, terraces and parking available for their guests. Also, it takes only few minutes to reach the city centre.

Guest information explained the history of the building but only in Slovak so we couldn't read it, would be good to have it in English and German also

Lovely old building with spacious rooms, slept well Good breakfast with the cooked option freshly made There's such a lot to see in the city that we stayed an extra night, this time only an apartment was available so we had to upgrade but it was a beautiful suite with a sitting room and kitchenette so we could make a hot drink.

If coming from the East, the acess is quite steep, that could be challenging in case of rain. If you are walking to, much better to follow the route to/from the new castle. At our room the WiFi connection was slow and disconnected often. Not a big deal for a relaxing weekend, but to keep in mind if somebody plans to do some work from here. Nevertheless, was better at the breakfast area.

The building itself is really nice, decorated with very good taste. Our room was in the top floor, with multiple windows that provided a lot of light and fresh air. It's on a walking distance of the historical town. Breakfast was good and with variety.

Very steep access to the property and no street lights outside when walking back in the dark. Also, there is no restaurant and snacks in the bar are very limited (only ready made panini). it would be great if there were more snacks or light meals on offer, especially in the evenings when you just fancy to chill and get yourself a glass of wine in the bar. The welcome wasn’t very warm, I believe we might have been the only guests on our arrival day and the lady who served at the bar wasn’t very attentive, not welcoming or helpful at all - my family felt like we shouldn’t ask for anything or order anymore as she was so twitchy to just close off and go home. I think especially in places like this, the customer service should come first no matter what the guests order and how much they spend. luckily the lady next day saved the day and we felt like in a hotel rather than just someone who sneaked uninvited into someone’s house.

The Vila is well maintained and clean in a lovely location. There was a very kind receptionist/waiter lady who was attentive, and made us feel very comfortable.

The accommodation is quite far from the center of the town. At night there is not much light in the neighborhood.

The hotel is on the hill hence was difficult walk up but it's not big deal.

Hotel was close to city center. It took us 10 min by walk. The receptionist was very polite and helpful. Rooms were clean and big enough for couples. We had also small fridge. Breakfast was fair enough including fresh made scrambled egg or sausage upon request... overall price and benefit ration was top...

Location very close to centre and accessible by a variety of winding passageways. Comfortable, sensitively modernised rooms which still preserve a real feeling for the antiquity of the building. Showers are outstanding. Excellent and stylishly presented breakfast comprised of a spread of quality cold items and a hot item from a small selection cooked for you on request. Staff were very kind and didn't mind adding cheese to my scrambled eggs. Considering the high quality of every aspect of my stay, I thought the price was very agreeable.

Everything!!! The view, the comfort, the kindness of staff, the breakfast. Everything was just perfect! The staff was so lovely that they allowed me to use their garage to keep my bike in a safe place plus in the morning they helped me out with allen keys I was missing and even helped adjusting my saddle! I can only recommend the place!
