There was no information about wellness, no kettle in the room, a small trash can, limited English communication, and several minor inconveniences.

One thing a bit inconvenient is that Instead of one queen bed, we had two single beds pushed together, which created a gap in the middle since the mattresses could not touch each others. Also, breakfast ends at 9:00, which feels quite early if you’ve had a long hike the day before and would like a slower morning.

We had a lovely stay at Vila Jedla. The breakfast was a highlight, thanks to the older gentleman in the kitchen, who was always smiling, kind, and very helpful.

Kettle was provided but no tea/coffee - or even cups which would have been useful! We were equipped with our own, but not everyone would.

Beautiful interior and our double room was actually a large suite. Kettle and fridge. Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of her way to accommodate our requirements, and was very knowledgeable about the area. We left luggage whilst going away on an overnight hike, and since the room was not booked up we were even allowed to keep our room key in order to take a shower on our return.

Beautiful little hotel close to the high tatra mountains! Breakfast was amazing, rooms were spacious and fresh, beds were comfortable. The staff made sure that we could check in late so that we had more time exploring the surroundings before settling down!

Pretty cramped room. Stale smell when I first entered. But after I opened all the widows and let in the fresh air, the smell was gone before long. The exceptional breakfast made up for all the other defects.

Self check in was very easy. I didn't see any staff until the morning but I had no need for anything. The room was spacious and quiet and had its own bathroom. Nice and warm with a comfy bed. The chef was lovely and had prepared lots of food for breakfast - fresh salad, cheese and cold cuts, tea, coffee, cereals, variety of breads, scrambled eggs, yogurts and fruits. I have already booked a further nights stay at the end of my trip

Pretty nice, warm place with clean room/bathroom in room (towels included). Free for all dining room with tea, coffee, juice, flakes and even milk. Fast wifi included. About 100m from nearest train station and about 1km from main train/bus station. Reception friendly and eager to let you know about the hotel.

Good value for money. The inventory was simple, but functional, clean and pleasant, reflecting the price of the accommodation. The location is perfect, close to the center and hikes. I have arrived late, the key was available, I got instructions ahead.

Vila Jedla is just perfect. Great location, nice, clean rooms and offers free coffee all day long. I was really happy being here. Also it has a super price for the value. But the best thing is the host lady, who runs this place. She knows what is hospitality and what people need. Communication with her was easy and efficient. When I arrived in the early morning, I could already check in to my warm, super clean, cozy room and could rest few hours before my hike. Also, even though there was no breakfast service due to being low season, she prepared some cakes for me so I could have it with my coffee. Really, she deserves a 100 star.

Not something I did not like but more of a puzzle I did not solve and forgot to ask about. I was puzzled at breakfast to find raw eggs but nothing to put them into so they could become edible. :D (But there were well-prepared eggs for breakfast in addition to the raw ones.) I would have liked to pay the local tax (2 euro per night) together with the payment for the room/stay.

I liked everything. Lovely location and view, friendly staff, good breakfast (which I received without expecting it). I slept well and the rooms had everything I needed (plus they were nice and clean). I stayed in the villa 2x over a two week period. I slept in two different rooms and both were lovely. I enjoyed the option of going to the sauna but I did not have the time to try it out. Hopefully next time I can :).

We've spent one single night there. We arrived late at night, getting in was easy using the key from a lockbox. The breakfast was really good, the host in the dining room was very welcoming with our family.
