How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Loved the stay at Penzion Zora family! Room was clean,bed was comfortable. Lady at reception and all the staff were exceptional! Wellness amazing, saunas,pool. Recommend to everyone especially if you are looking to visit Lomnicky peak, it is perfect location. Also restaurant with really good food. Definitely will visit again! ❤️👌💯

The room was really retro and didn't get toiletries at start, we had to ask for it at the reception desk.
The wellnes deparment is very new and modern. The pools, saunas are pretty new and not crowded at all.

An excellent stay. Very close to the slopes about 50 meters. The wellness area is superb. The food is very good. I highly recommend it.

We took an apartment for the 4 of us with 2 rooms, but we didn't have our own fridge in the apartment, so we had to use a public fridge on the corridor on a lower level. The two rooms had only one closet, and not much place where to place your stuff.
The location is right next to the ski slopes, so you can even make the distance in ski boots and with the full equipment. The place has its own parking that you can use. Also you have the restaurant on the ground floor which is nice. We received clean white sheets on arrival, which is absolutely a groundbreaker for me!

The lack of shampoo and the small size for the soaps available.
The location, the friendly and supportive staff, the breakfast and the commodity of having a nice restaurant at the pension. It must be mentioned the beauty and comfy premises with a nice decoration.

We spent 3 nights at Zora Pension with 2 kids (6YO and 2YO). The pension is really family friendly, they have an outdoor playground, a kid's corner in the restaurant and another kid's playing corner on the 2nd floor. The kids were offered small gifts at arrival, animation and "candy hunt" was organized for them at the occasion of Halloween. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Half board is really worth the price, the meals were delicious. The location is excellent, cable cars to the Skalnate Pleso/ Lomnic Peak are just 2 min walk and the surrounding nature is beautiful. We can't wait to come back, hopefully in the near future! :)

The location is great but there is a lack of comfort, of love in the hotel, the floor boards were creaking, the door to the bathroom was creaking, the bedroom was very basic, there was no feeling of Gemütlichkeit as the Germans call it, no paintings on the walls, no bin in the room, we did not have any cleaning provided and no explanation for why not
The location is the only thing really going for this hotel and the free parking associated with it.

The opening hours of the wellness area are unfavourable to say the least. The pool opens from 13:00 and the sauna sometime in the afternoon. So if someone wants to go to the wellness area in the morning, it's not possible. Good to know: the dinner is a menu based dinner and not buffet. In room 10A the parking lot's lamps are pointing directly towards the windows, which disrupts the view towards the mountains from around 8pm in the summer. It would be nice to have a hairdryer in the bathroom. Sound insulation of the rooms are poor. We could hear quite a lot from the nextdoor neighbor and from the hallway.
The wellness area was great. New and well equipped. I liked the view from the room, because from room 10A we could see the mountains directly from our bed. However the room was not the same what we saw on the booking website. But our room was the only one with a view on the mountains. All other rooms with a balcony face away from the mountains. So it was a "You win some, you lose some" situation.

Low standard old fashioned room with no double bed (we slept on one of of the three single beds available in the room). There is no option to connect them as you are ending up with massive gap in between. No coffee, no water in the room, wellness centre available at extra charge of €25 per person, which is ridiculous considering €90 charge for very basic room. Staff is polite.
