A charming pension in a beautiful historic location. Marvellous views, a spacious room, comfy beds. The staff is super friendly. You immediately feel at home there and want to come back! The restaurant serves traditional food eg.excellent Slovak halušky. In warm weather you can eat outside in a peaceful garden.

Wish it had an elevator for us old folks! And once on the property, it was difficult to find the lodging. There was a sign for the restaurant but not for the pension.

The beautifully quaint setting of a former monastery was lovely. It was super clean, with a very friendly staff.

The bedding is very old fashioned. Old mattress and bed linen which ought to be cotton not polyester. There is no need for this.

The only minor thing was that the shower head did not point down.

Great property set in a lovely location. The bedroom was big with a large comfortable double bed. The wifi was strong. The bathroom was large. It was great to be able to eat in the garden of the hotel. The garden was secluded being large and surrounded by the old town wall. It was only a short walk from the bus stop. The staff were very nice and friendly.

I really had a great time such as a fairytale with my family. It was a bit hard to find the parking lot but a woman who stood in front of the hotel taught where it is. The room was clean and enough big for us and the view from around the hotel was also good! We had good dinner and fresh breakfast. I want to back there soon! Thanks very much!

During the breakfast time, a bit after nine am, I went with a colleague to the restaurant and ordered tea and they charged for it.

The location was very beautiful. The breakfast was modest but had a good selection. They were pet-friendly.

Minor things: the place is a bit hard to find, and we could not get the (tiny) TV working (admittedly, we did not ask for help).

It is a totally unique experience to stay here. It is in the middle of a tiny medieval religious city surrounded by walls, closed and quiet - I kept on asking myself: are we allowed to be here? Once inside the (ages old) pension, you find basic but comfortable rooms and a restaurant that serves great breakfast but also a full-fledged menu for dinner. We have also benefited from the selection of board games (bring your own dice!).

This is not the fault of the property at all but i thought i mention it for awareness. I was unfamiliar with this building. Our room was on the third floor, and obviously there is no elevator in this historical building. We had an 85 and a 73 year old with us, and they both struggled with the steps, so we needed to minimize how many times we climbed/descended the steps.

The location is outstanding. It’s like stepping back in time. Staff was helpful and service was outstanding.

If you want to feel the historical atmosphere of the preceding centuries not only in the cozy restaurant this medieval residence offers, but also have your body and soul renewed during the sleep in the premises that are literally built on prayers of the generations of Spiš Chapter members , this is probably the best place in the historical heart of the Spiš region to take a retreat. The small hotel is run as a family business, that is, the approach to the guests is on a totally different level up the scale. Restaurant is highly recommended for its variety of seasonal meals using local products.

One small thing, there was no air conditioning on the room.(it's understandable as the building is historical and there are some limitations for the reconstruction)

A little more space to store items - we didn't really have anywhere to put our bags (we did however book the cheapest room!)

Really cool location and setting, which I wasn't expecting. It's in the Spis Kapitula which is an old ecclesiastical town and it's very atmospheric. Make sure you save some time to walk around that area. The rooms and hotel are decorated in a unique manner in line with the ecclesiastical area. The restaurant isn't fine dining, but at this price point it's exactly what you would expect, and more. The hot teas are fantastic! Breakfast was great and the staff were very helpful.

A wonderful and unique place to stay within a cloister village of some sort. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. The kitchen is good, we had breakfast and dinner there. The Spis castle is very near.
