I was hoping to use the sauna but that was only rentable for 2 hours minimum and pretty pricey.

My room was comfortable and clean. I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast had a lot of options.

We could leave the car for multiple days on their parking while hiking for multiple days. Helped to arrange a taxi.

no view from the window (as ot was only the ceiling one), and the apartment was not cleaned well enough after previous guests, there could be some kettle in the apartment just to make some tea

Few things, like the bathroom can be a bit more equipped, like with a cupboard to keep the toiletries. Our room also got a lot of smells from the kitchen. Not very pleasant.

The hotel is a bit on the rustic side, a bit more rudimentary, but we still felt very comfortable here. We loved the huge playroom for the kids, the tasty breakfast, the helpful staff and the flexibility we were offered. We liked it!

In fact everything. To start with the friendly and perfect speaking gentleman at the check-in counter. He gave us all the necessary information and freedom of room choice. A big compliment for him. The room was very big as well as the bathroom. Both were very clean and with a nice view on the mountains. And a little river close by. So nice. The restaurant: Very good service, very tasty food and amazing breakfast. The waiter speaks also very good English and did everything to make our stay at the restaurant very pleasant. The restaurant at itself is very beautifull and is also like a nice museum. It has a open fire. Parking was perfect. A lot of space. And everywhere it's very clean. About the location: very silent. Fuel station: just 5 minutes away. Polish border: about 10 minutes driving. Areas (mountains) with frozen snow: 5 minutes driving. And then the High Tatra (Wysokie Tatry). A pearl of nature in Europe. You are in the middle of it. This also makes Hotel&Restaurant Sofa the perfect place for a stay in the High Tatra. For the staff (check-in desk) and the restaurant we have our respect and sympathy. They make you feel at home. We (experience Booking.com Genius members) rate this place with a 10 out of 10. That means 5 stars on all subjects. We will be back, for sure.

It was an excellent stay. I loved the inviting lobby and reception area with its beautifully crafted timber theme, not to mention the charmingly decorated café. What stood out most was the kindness and friendliness of the staff, who went above and beyond to help me settle in. The room was clean and spacious. It would be even better if a hair dryer were provided in the room.

Location was perfect in centre of the village, also very close to the ski slopes, rooms were nice and big, warm and comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. There is a restaurant at the place. bus stop right at the hotel to take you to the ski resort. Overall very happy
