Fantastic view and cosy place. We were staying with a big dog and it was no big deal. Very close to all the beautiful hiking routes around. Delicious breakfast as well. Highly recommended.

When we needed help with something or had a question, it was difficult to find someone to speak to. Often, there was no one at the reception and we weren't sure what to do. Also, the staff didn't exactly introduce themselves and it wasn't obvious who's got what role except for the lady whom I spoke to via text messages. I think a bit more transparency in communication could improve the experience. Being told ahead of time whom to speak to if there's a problem or who is there to help and at what times would be the most useful information that we didn't have. The wifi with no password was a big flag as that invites hackers straight in. Please set up a visitor-only password on the wifi and give it to the guests at the check-in for safety. The wifi seemed very slow for any kind of streaming service such as Netflix. Although I didn't eventually try to use it, seeing how slow it was just loading weather websites. One odd thing about the rooms was the position of the electric sockets. They were scarce and sometimes located at the top of the wall - very strange and hard to use.

The location was great, only around 5 - 7 minutes walk from the train station. It was quiet when the balcony was closed but the road down was rather noisy even at night. The noise of the stream in the woods was bearable after the first night. Finding the penzion was easy too, it's right next to a bus stop too. :) The bathroom was clean and very nice, and the facilities were wonderful. We loved the open buffet breakfast! A nice selection of vegetables too, though I wouldn't mind extra leafy greens such as iceberg lettuce or a Romain lettuce to add a variety. Good for vegetarians, but not for vegans. The people who owned the penzion were very nice and friendly.

The Pension was really comfy and the family who runs the business was so kind! The food was delicious in the restaurant. We have a dog and they were so nice to him as well ☺️

The staff were very very kind and helpful. The beds & bathroom extremely clean. And the food was extraordinary delicious, every day fresh and the new and different cakes every day, I just loved them. I was there for New Years Eve, who cooked that food is a real 5 stars shef. Thank you for all these good and nice experience ❤️

Sound proofing is not the best; but finally this is two-star object, so its still ok.

All good, good place to have a sleep close to Tatras mountains, especially when planning to go to Rysy early in the morning ;)

The accomodation is located in a beautiful environment. We visited the place during winter, the white snow, the green pine trees and the blue sky were amazing. It is easy to find the Pension, parking is also super easy. The owners are helpful and friendly. There is no elevator in the building but this was not a problem for us. The whole place is very friendly and cosy. Not modern, but clean, comfortable and cute. Our room was small but big enough to place a child bed there as well. The view from the room is amazing. The bed was a little bit "used" but comfortable enough to sleep well. There is also hair dryer in the bathroom which is very good. Everything was fresh and clean in the room, we were satisfied with it. The breakfast was very delicious, you can choose from hot and cold meals as well. I think the variety of food was perfectly enough. There is a fireplace in the dining room which creates a very cosy atmosphere.

Penzion Pleso is 5 minute walk away from all hiking trail's and situated near a small lake. I was there with one of my friends and my dog. Staff was very helpful and breakfast is good to eat before hiking all day long.

hotel has “paper” walls, you can hear every single word/step/move/laughs of people next door, so if you prefer quiet stay that’s probably not for you.
