Sometimes it was hard to communicate with the personal because nobody did speek english, we wanted to ask about a breakfast but we didn't manage that.

The house is situated near to the bus terminal and the train station but you cannot hear any annoying Noise. The city centre is a good 10 min walk from there. It has a very nice terracce in the court, the people were very friendly to us.

The man and lady who welcomed me were very kind. They don't speak English very well but you just need a translator and they'll do everything they can to help you.

The description on Booking.com stated that the entire unit was on the ground floor. However, I was not pleased when I arrived at the property to see there were three large steps up to the front door. I am a wheelchair user who had a challenging day of travel already as Slovakia is still behind the times for accessibility. I did accept the accessibility issues in the country but when you see a property stated as entirely on ground floor you don't expect some huge steps. Please alter the description on Booking.com. Also, there needs to be more prominence to state that this property only accepts cash payment. I was lucky in that the lovely lady on reception accepted part payment with the cash I had to hand and then paid the balance the next day.

The location of the venue was excellent as it was so near the town centre, the train station and the ice rink where we spent most of our time watching an ice hockey tournament. Also, has Tesco up the road! The room was very warm considering the icy weather outside! There was a fridge in the room which was very useful too.

Despite being next to the railway tracks, the sound was not as problematic as we initially feared. In the room we were in, the only issue was the leaking (but still usable) shower hose.

The place is optimal for a short 2 to 4-day stay for a larger group (4-5) traveling by bus/train and people traveling by car and seeking a 1-2-night stay. Next to a bus and train station, and not far from the city center.

Our second time here. Stayed here last year for one night as well. - gated yard and free parking - we had three beds in room, table, chairs - fridge - bathroom There is no ac in a room but we had window open. There is railway on the other side of the road, if there were noise from it it didnt bother us. Check in was open till 22:00, but we messaged and asked for later check-in if there was traffic and that was also ok. Close to the centrum where restaurants, bars and shops were, about 5 min away. Notice that only cash payments but that´s fine, they mention that on description as well.

The location right next to the train station made us a bit nervous, since in the evening it can be frequented by trouble makers. But the hotel was surrounded by a wall and that made us a bit more comfortable.

The receptionist was exceptionally kind, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Our room was spacious, cleaner than expected, and overall met our needs. There is nothing flashy to the hotel, but it does the job.

Very friendly owner. She only spoke Slovak but was keen to help. With some extra help from Google Translate we figured it all out together. Rooms are simple but clean and all we needed as it was a short stopover on a railtrip. The train station is only 150m away.

One of the basics was the shower. The shower head attachment was broken and by the look of it for some considerable time. Compliciant. No one around in morning to complain to. I was determined to have my shower so bathroom on leaving looked like a pond. Their problem as otherwise this could have been an 8 or 9

Basic but all perfectly fine for the price. No complaints. The appearance as you walk from the station is a bit daunting but inside the grounds it is as shown in the photos.

- There was a problem with Booking/our reservation and didnt go through to them, even though we got the confirmation email. But they managed to find a room to us and place for our car. - Only cash payments - There was no restaurant

- They dont speak much english but were still helpful. - They showed from Google Map where to eat, few minutes away (to the left) from the Penzion is Butchers Bits and that was awesome! - Free parking on the gated yard. - Close to bus and train station and few minutes away from the centrum with shops/bars etc. - We had room for max. 4 and that was spacious with living room with two sofa beds and bedroom with two single beds. Comfy beds but the blankets were too short for adults (kids size) but it wasnt too cold so they were fine. - No ac but we opened the window (which has net) so we got some fresh air.
