There are some downsides: there is no kettle in the room, and the children’s playroom is in need of renovation. A hotel of this standard should take better care of the equipment for children – many elements are damaged and require replacement or repair.

Wellness could be open at least until 10PM. We got the room on the first floor with an unimpressive view although something different was promised to us.

The location is spectacular. Breakfast was marvelous. Wiener schnitzel at the hotel's restaurant was really good.

The hotel is located in the beautiful area of Štrbské Pleso, with easy access to many hiking trails. We stayed here for a conference, and it proved to be a perfect venue for such events. Friendly staff, convenient parking, and a great spa. Highly recommend — it even inspired us to visit Slovakia more often.

Everything was great

Great location, beautiful facilities, spectacular spa experience, and really sweet staff. The receptionist Soňa went out of her way to help us plan our hike and make us feel welcome. It was a joy to see her in the morning and chat about our plans. The hotel itself was lovely, but that friendly experience took it to the next level

There should be a trash bin in the room, there was only a tiny one in the bathroom. Other then that 0 complaints.

Perfect location for exploring the surrounding high tatras region. Lots of restaurants and hiking activities near by. Close to train station. The wellness area is great for relaxing after a day full of activities. There were not a lot of crowds, many different sauna available, hot tubs and a pool. Breakfast had typical options with added local cheeses which were great. Great value for money.

The room was too warm and the blakets were also too thick and warm.

A very good hotel in a gorgeous localisation. The breakfast is excellent, varied, and delicious, with many local ingredients. There is a possibility to charge your e-car (20 Euro / night costs the garage, the chrged amount will not be measured. There is a separate restaurant in circa 200 m from the Hotel apart, with excellent kitchen. Higly recommended.

I wish there had been a few more facilities in the rooms like a kettle, more than one tiny conditioner, etc. The staff was nice except one guy working in the restaurant in their club. He was very judgy and gave bad service so we left

The staff in the restaurants and bar were sometimes a bit cold, and for some reason the kitchen in the restaurant and outdoor grill closed much earlier than advertised. Seems they just close when it gets quiet so we had to find other places to eat.

The hotel is beautiful and match the environment. Perfectly locate Near the lake and close to all amenities. The WiFi was working very well and we didn’t have any issues during our work. The lady on the reception did an exceptional job and was very friendly and professional!

You can still feel that the hotel was originally built during the Soviet era, but it’s clear that a lot of effort has been made to turn that into a strength. Wooden railings and tiled balconies add a touch of historical charm to the otherwise modern interiors.

The hotel is located in an incredibly picturesque area. Our windows faced the mountains, and on the other side, there was a stunning view of a mountain lake. There’s also a nearby lift that takes you up over 1,800 meters, offering a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the entire area. We were pleasantly surprised by the spacious room and the friendly staff. Breakfasts were quite varied, and the large dining area helped avoid any sense of crowding, even though the hotel itself is fairly big.

There is no airconditioning, however The wearlther was nice and it was not needed.

The hotel is renoveted. All was clean and nice. The sauna experience was very good. I have enjoyed The brekfest which was diversed and deliciois. The parking is free of charg even if you park in early hours before check in and you can leave car thill the end of the check out day.

A perfect place to stay during a trip to the Slovak Tatras! We had a wonderful room: very spacious and modern. The spa was a great after hiking and the breakfast offer was huga and everything was delicious! A shame we only stayed for one night: next time we will definitely stay for longer!

It was our first time to stay in Hotel Patria. The enviroment of the Strbske mountain lake is breathtaking. The hotel's exterior is in a traditional alpine style and very nicely and modernly on the inside. We appreciared the spacious room with a balcony overlooking the mountains. For breakfast and dinner there was a wide selection of food that tasted great. We relaxed in the beautiful spa. The hotel Patria has excellent value for money. We recommend the stay and look forward to the next stay 🩷.

The fitness complex in this hotel is the best and largest we have seen so far. It is a large hotel with hundreds of guests, but the fitness area never felt crowded. There are so many things to chose from that it is easy to spend the whole afternoon just trying out everything. Just an example, there are four different steam rooms, each easily accomodating 12-15 people.

No kettle in the room and water in the bottles

Great hotel in a beautiful location! Very tasty and varied breakfast. You can have dinner at the hotel (€30) or at the on-site bar — we had dinner at the bar and loved it! The room was comfortable, with a fridge, shower, and great mattresses. Only thing missing was a kettle. Free parking for guests. The area is amazing — perfect for walking around the lake or hiking to a waterfall. Highly recommended!
