How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Very clean, modern and spacious room. Very friendly staff. The hotel is a five minute walk from the historical center of town.

The host of this B&B was exceptionally helpful, and went above and beyond in providing me with a great deal of information and support in deciphering the weekend times of busses relating to my travels, including beyond the dates of the stay itself! The accommodation is spacious and I recommend the breakfast. A great accommodation option for anyone visiting Bardejov!

The bath room do not have a separate shower room, so you need to take shower in the tub (without curtain). The bath tub is very big if you like to take a bath.
This B&B has the great breakfast, and the room is very big. The location is very convenient with supermarket and restaurant nearby. Also, I can go to office by walk around 10 min, and it is within the 10 min walking distance to the city center. A nice B&B for my next trip to Bardejov. Host is a nice lady who give helps and care how you feel.

Pillows too thin.
Great and clean kozy accommodation. Mirka was very very good and helpful. Room number 2 was excellent with raked ceiling in spacious bathroom. 10/10

There is nothing to complain about. We recommend only went for a dinner around 6pm, cause the restaurants in center are closing at 8pm.
We felt very welcomed- the B&B Magura was very clear and well equiped with everything you need for your stay. The location was perfect- 5-10 minutes walking distance from beautiful city center of Bardejov. We stayed just for one night, but if you are planning longer stay, the staff will give you a lot of advices for the activities of any kind in the region.

no prior instructions what to expect on check in.
Just with the reception, no one is around when we came at 3pm for check in. Only when I rang, was told how to go inside. Anyway,the lady on the phone was very nice & helpful . Also the ladies doing breakfast are really nice & friendly

Pricing was a little confusing as the rate was dependent on number of people staying, not just per room.
Really nice and clean accomodations. Great staff. Good location not far from attractions.

No cheese or ham for breakfast and only white bread.
Spacious room. Very good location, close to city center and food shops. Possibility to park our motorbikes in the yard

It’s a little walk from centre but not far. Bolt and Uber don’t seem to cover Bardejov
Very friendly and comfortable stay, Bardejov in the snow a magical scene. Miroslava speaks excellent English, really enjoyed breakfast in front of cozy log fire. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

I did not like the pillows, but that is super minor thing

Minor detail- there was no shower curtain.
We travelled by motorcycle so safe parking is critical. They let us park in the back garden in a shed- perfect! Room was very big, place was clean, nice bathroom, friendly staff, good breakfast. It is a bit farther from the historic downtown, but is worth the extra 5 minute walk. Very close to a grocery store. I was concerned with the self checkin- but it was easy. You need a cellphone to call a number and the woman walks you thru everything- it was super easy and she was friendly and helpful and spoke good english. When I 1st called she didn't answer and I was a bit worried- but she called back in less than 2 minutes.

Room bit noisy due to road traffic. No proper curtain window curtain.

Perfect location -10 min from old city. Cousy parking -front on the hotel. Beautifull and super kind staff. Room was very clean and modern. I enjoy time in pansion very much.

The bed was a little to hard according to my preferences.
The location with free parking is close to the city center and the UNESCO heritage. The room and the bathroom is very big and clean.
