Clean property, tasty food, great location for skiing, helpful hosts, charming mountain cabin overall

Food, breakfast hours are too late, ice on driveway, extra charge for tea and water with included dinner. Food average with set menu, no option to change. Dated room

Property was ideal for us , we could strap our skis on and get straight onto the mountain

I liked the location most - quite convenient ski-in, while ski-out required some climbing or going down in skiing boots.

The rooms were cold and despite that the heaters were regularly turned off (to save costs?), either automatically or remotely by the owner. This was the major problem. The breakfast was very basic and repetitive, no *actually* warm food available. Scrambled eggs or sausages were not placed on a warmer nor covered, so it's obvious they'll gonna cool down in ~10 minutes. Although there's half board meal, the beverages are not included. For breakfast, you have only the cheapest tea you can imaging and for dinner - no beverages at all. A simple black tea costs 5 EUR, which is more expensive than in ski bars nearby. The general impression is that the place needs a major refurbishment.

Quirky interior with interesting artifacts and memorabilia from the original chalet make this a stay to remember. Gorgeous tasty food in an informal atmosphere. Friendly staff make it a comfortable stay,

Curtains that cover the bedroom window to block out light & keep in the heat would be a small improvement, My scratchy bath towel!

Nice location right on the slopes, the dinner was great and the host is very nice. Would definitely think as a suitable option for an accommodation right on the slopes with half-board included.

Although it wasn't mentioned, we did not have any soap or shower gel in the shower. Also, indeed the coffee is not included in the breakfast, but that wasn't a problem for us.

Great location, very friendly and welcoming staff and owner, and just exceptional, very tasty national food

Food was really tasty - liked it very much. We had different options with each meal which was great. The location was perfect - right in front of the lower station of one of the ski lifts and at the higher station of a different lift, so you could choose to go further up the mountain or ride your way down to take any of the lifts there. Brilliant! The staff was super friendly and helpfull. I really enjoyed my stay there!

I didn't like the pillow - it was too springy for me, but my friends had exactly the same type and did not complain at all, so it's a only preference thing. The bed is a classic 'mountain-style' bed with a wooden crate arount the mattress, so if you're tall like myself (195cm) and you're used to sleeping with your feet hanging from the bed keep in mind that it might not be the most comfortable for you, but I was expecting that as it's a common thing, so totally not a huge deal - I got some good sleep afterall each night.

The staff and the owner were extremely helpful. Excellent location, ski in, ski out. Half board was great, typical Slovak dishes for dinner. In the accommodation you have everything, you might need. Great atmosphere in the restaurant.
