We liked everything except the beds could be more comfortable. Breakfast could have more choice.

The property is situated in a lovely complex of buildings. A lot of parking space, lovely staff. Room was nice and clean with lovely balcony.

The Koliba personal could have been more friendly. The beds were two one person bed put together with separate pillows. As we took a double room, we would’ve liked it to be one pillow at least.

We liked the fact that it is close to the Jasna ski domain with good connections with the bus, the service, the easy access to and from the bus station, the SPA. It is nice and cozy. Totally recommend.

Check out at 10 am was a but challenging, but I understand it is because the check in starts from 2 pm and they want to have enough time for cleaning. Door to the bathroom was a but weird sliding type, so it lacked a bit of separation. But all of it minor details. The hotel is a bit lower, so it requires drive to the slopes. On the day we were skiing there was a huge line up, and it took us 45 minutes to drive to the slopes. Ski busses unfortunately also get stuck in it. So in high season be prepared either to get up early or get patience to stand in traffic.

We got quite a big room, overlooking the hill, so it was silent and comfortable. The hotel was great, spa area exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was also ok. And the staff was very kind, spoke all sorts of languages, including English, Polish and even Hungarian. Ski bus just outside of the hotel. In sum - great hotel, we may come back.

I recently opened a kolyba in Slovakia and am excited to share my first impressions! This place is for anyone who appreciates tradition, coziness, and delicious food. The interior has a rustic style: wooden beams, vintage dishes, and warm lighting that create an atmosphere you’ll want to return to. The menu is a real discovery, offering Slovak dishes prepared with authentic home recipes. I especially enjoyed the signature goulash and dumplings – absolutely amazing! Special thanks to our server Taras for the excellent service! He was very attentive, happily explained each dish, and recommended local specialties to try. We recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience real Slovak cuisine and feel right at home!

We had to walk outside to eat breakfast but it wasn't a big problem, spa was in our building luckily. The corridor was a bit old.

I chose this hotel because of spa and closeness to ski area, we had an offer for a good price and we are satisfied with our stay in this hotel. Our double room was spacious including the bathroom and a very big bed, breakfast was also all right. We used a ski bus - 5 minutes walking.

Everything was as on the pictures. The room was good and clean. We could set the heating, so the room had a good and warm temperature. There were many choices at the breakfast and it was delicious. I would recommend it.

The bed mattress was too hard for us and the pillow is extremely soft.

When the receptionist lady found out that we are from Hungary, she started to speak in our language. The wellness area is much better than expected. There are several saunas, jacuzzi, tepidarium and other services. The whole area is well-designed, we really liked it. The dinner and breakfast in the restaurant were delicious. Our room was clean and spacious enough.

It was really noisy. Maybe it's an old wooden building but people were shouting in the corridors and the lady in the room next door I heard her entire telephone conversation for over an hour.

Good location for skiing or hiking around the region. Kind ladies at the reception and at the wellness. The hotel has a very good traditional Slovak restaurant. The wellness was better than expected. There are free ski buses that stops just 150 meters away from the hotel.

Be warned, if you book here, book for a room with no additional services, and pay everything separately. I booked all inclusive (wellness centre and parking). After I arrived I was informed that the wellness centre was closed (except on weekends)... that was fine, no big deal until it came time to pay. I informed the receptionist that I was being charged additionally for the wellness centre even though it was closed (I showed her my booking, and the price difference on otber days). She called me a liar, phoned the manager and told me I had to pay, and if I had complaints, to raise it with booking.com. Bed was also like sleeping on a plank and there was no way to turn the heating in the room down

Dust clots on window sills. Shower head holder is badly installed - shower head falls out. It was cold at night and the room had no extra blankets. Couples need to note the toilet is just 1m away from bed and the door is not shutting the room well. There is also a frosted glass right by the toilet.

People are really nice there. Rooms are spacious and well equipped - robes, slippers, shoe care kits are items of upper standard. Access to spa is a great bonus and spa itself is really good. However there are flaws.
