How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Nice hotel that is relatively close to both stations there. Easy check in. Everything clean and tidy. Breakfast included and had AC in the room which was diffinatley needed at the time of my stay

The carpet was heavily stained and this was offputting. Loved having the big windows open at night for breezes but the trains do run frequently.
Good sized rooms with large windows, clean and comfortable beds and excellent breakfast included. Super central location on a relatively quiet street.

Not necessarily to dislike, but the entrace to the car park is quite narrow (generally extra paid, but it was public holiday and the staff was so nice to not require extrea payment for few extra hours). Breakfast is basic, but I was not expecting anything extra
Great location in city centre - 5minutes from castle; very helpful staff; they provided free later check out and enabled me their other premises while having business calls; the facilities coresponds to 3star hotel

We only spent 1 night but we enjoyed the stay - the rooms were nice and clean, the breakfast was decent and the staff were super nice and helpful with some special requests we had.

Beds would benefit with new matrace but nothing major.
good city type hotel with good near city center and train station. Rooms are fitted with air conditioning. Breakfast was delicious with fresh pastries. Hotel offers parking for small fee which we utilized as hotel is located in regulated area. Hotel is dog friendly

You have to pay extra for parking if you park in hotel's private lot.
The breakfast was really good and the hotel has a private parking.

The stairs are difficult for large suitcase to be lifted, and the breakfast lacks fruit juice and desserts
The receptionnist is very kind, room clean and its location is near the train station

The lift stops in between floors, so you have to walk up or down some steps
The hotel is near one the town centre station which is useful, with a supermarket 30 meters away - it is a few minutes walk to the centre. The air-conditioning is very good - it was a relief to come back to the hotel in the hot weather. staff were very helpful, organising taxis and in one case a staff member even gave us a lift because he was going to our destination anyway

An irritant of mine. Do not provide tea and coffee in the room WITHOUT providing milk. If you want this option, best ask when checking in before derrobing!
It is so convenient for Zvolen Mesto rail station. Check-in was smooth. Quiet location. Minibar provided. Good breakfast.

Breakfast was truly fantastic. Staff was very very welcoming, even when arriving late at night. The head waiter during morning and breakfast was extremely helpful and kind. It was all very lovely. The room we stayed in was on a smaller scale, but it was comfortable and we had everything we needed. It was clean and very quiet.

Would have preferred a shower, instead of a bath tub and shampoo and shower cap. Elevator does not stop on the same floor, still have to carry the suitcase up several steps that was a bit difficult for an older person.
Great location, very friendly and pleasant staff. Request for additional supplies were fulfilled immediately. Very accommodating.

It’s a great location, very close to everything. The stuff is very helpful and nice. Breakfast was great, I would definitely consider this place for the next trip.

Restaurant was closed in Wednesday. Breakfast did not suprised, it was ok.
Good experience. Quiet room with good bed ab AC. Shower pressure was good. Car parking behind the hotel. Good location close to the center.
