Staying in a house boat in the marina is an experience in itself. The communication with the hosts was smooth and efficient. The house was clean. It had everything we would have needed except soap in the bathroom and sponges in the kitchen in case one wanted to rinse a cup or a plate. Having a jacuzzi on the boat house was a nice perk. The houses though sit in very close proximity in the harbour and there are no opportunities for privacy screens (should one wish any) when using the jacuzzi. Also, since this is a location close to water, having some place to dry clothes on or hang them to dry would have been highly appreciated. Other perks included the free parking in the marina and the free access to the marina pool with salt water. In a place where parking can be problematic and the entry into the sea challenging, these were to very welcome additions.

Perfect location to close out a great vacation in Slovenia. On the water, in the marina brings an additional dimension. The houses are fully equipped en nicely built.

The houseboats are very close, and if you have loud neighbors, it's not funny.

Not super clean when we arrived and missing a few home comforts of the other lodges, like table mats, plants, clothes airer, toaster, kettle etc. Pillows were a bit big and not the most comfy.

Nice location with beach bar, place to swim and restaurants nearby. Nice place to relax with hot tub on the roof and loungers. Good layout meant it felt like there was enough space and decent aircon which kept the place nicely cool.

We missed a cleaning service. Since we spent there 7 nights... But wenn we asked for an exchange of towels, they came immediately👍

The whirlpool was perfect. The kids almost slept in there😁 Everything new and very clean. A lot of store space. Roof on the deck was not working properly but they got it fixed in couple of hours after we reported it.

Quality: These apartments are privat and rented out. So, not a Single host - i guess this how it was possible that my bed collapsed with me laying in it (I’m light and quite). See pic below, had to spend one night on this slatted frame. Difficult to reach somebody on a Saturday evening. Positive surprise the next morning when this problem hat been solved with a new slatted frame. In addition, both TV‘s were not working and from somewhere we always smelled cigaret smoke. Support by chat/email quite available, but we felt like „we’re on holiday here and do not want to fix all this broken stuff”. All together I do still recommend and would go again. How ever, for this price, quality and service should match. Ah, after asking we finally received a discount due to our problems. Fair!

We knew what were booking, so I was overall super happy with the choice. Loved the fact it was a boat house, with a big terrace to spend Your day or evening. Even if the spaces were compact, it was just perfect for 4 adults as most of the time is spent on the terrace in jacuzzi or having breakfast/dinner. The neighbours are very close, but I must say it wasn't noisy or uncomfortable at all. But indeed, if You like privacy it might not be for You. The boathouse was clean and well equipped. If You are willing to walk there are supermarkets and restaurants + clubs nearby.

Our Sea Lodge (no 69) was noticeably sloping to one side. It was a bit annoying, especially at first. We raised with staff who quickly said they’d look at it but nothing was done. They did however remedy the drifting steps that you step onto to board the boathouse so that was good. Only other thing was the electric awning seemed to go in and out as it pleased (it wasn’t even windy). Overall though, I would stay here again. Lovely and interesting experience.

Fantastic view of the marina. Nice atmosphere with boats and people coming and going. Very quiet in evening and relaxing. Houseboat very clean. Enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor dining/lounging area. Great cocktail bar/restaurant that’s good value called Takamaka (through the campsite) a few minutes walk. There are 2 restaurants, a wine shop/bar, payable pool and small grocery shop at the marina too if you need them. Easy walk to bars and restaurants and swimming areas of Portoroz too. We even walked to Piran (about 1 hr and 30 mins ambling).

Very modern & clean accommodation with clean Hot tub. Top deck also had a nice view over harbour. Shops and restaurants were within walking distance. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Swimming pool with a bar was across the car park.

There are some dozens of similar sea houses. If you have neighbors you can hear every word they are saying because almost everything will happen outside on the deck. Our awning was annoying because it tended to fold in magically on its own. During our visit it was very hot. In the afternoon the water in the jacuzzi was 37 ° C warm! The air conditioning was ok but especially during the night did not manage to cool down the bedrooms to a comfortable temperature. Please bring your own filters and coffee for the coffee machine. It was not possible to buy filters in whole Portoroz.

The location is quite nice although it is like living in a small terraced house. The floating house was very clean and well equipped. The whole marina is nice and calm. Parking was no problem and the marina did offer two bars/restaurants and a small supermarket (which we did not use).

There was a 2 ft gap over the water to step to the floating house which made my daughter nervous. Bring bottled water (didn’t realize water wasn’t potable). Make sure you understand the gate system - gate staff might not be helpful.

Incredible views of the marina and hills of Portorož, easy walk to restaurants and beach, hot tub was wonderful, beautiful sunrises, well stocked kitchen, great water pressure - had everything we needed for a relaxing 2 day stay.

The store of the sleeping room was defect, so at 6 in the morning it was difficult to sleep. The air condition didn't work, so we were freezing the second day until they offered us to change the houseboat ! The water of the jacuzzi didn't increase the 32 degrees the first 3 days and suddenly when there were more guests arriving, on the 4th day it grew up onto 40 degrees !!! how bizarre ... don't you think ?! It's just inacceptable because the reason of our booking was the jacuzzi. So never again for that price ... it is absolutely not worth.

The location. All the infrastructure of the kitchen was new, really perfect.

The boats are very close together. There is not a lot of room for suitcases etc. You pay more for the novelty on being on a boat, but actually it doesn't feel like a boat.
