How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Inside corners of the bathroom furniture had some dust, but clean overall.
Good location, freshly renovated rooms that look like the pictures. Very comfortable bed, pillows and a good overall experience. The breakfast is 10/10 and I would suggest to not miss it.

Only very little noise from the streets.
The apartment is beautifully and thoughtfully renovated, combining style with practicality. It was very comfortable and well-equipped for our stay. The service was excellent — they even arranged a birthday cake for our son, which was not only beautifully made but also delicious. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient accommodation with a personal touch.

The only thing that bothered us a bit that the window shades couldn't completely darken the room, every morning the light woke us up 😁. But it wasn't a big deal 👍🏻🙂

Best option in Pohorska for mountain bikers! Amazing apartment with a lot of amenities! Very clean, with delicious breakfast. We ll stay next time there for sure!

The smell of sewage in the big bathroom made it unusable The bed sheets in the downstairs bedroom and couch hat dog hair It was cold in the rooms downstairs as it was heated only by an AC and it was not sufficient

We mostly liked everything. 😎🥰
Everything! The hotel is beautiful, modern, new, clean. The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was amazing. We could order fresh all kind of eggs prepared as we asked. We also got fresh croissants, yoghurt with granola and fresh fruits, pancakes… the coffee was good and my favourit was the freshly pressed orange juice. We also had fresh buns and plate with ham, cheese and also veggies. The ski center is 10 minutes by walk. We absolutely loved this place. 🥰🥰🥰

The kitchen is well equipped but a chopping board would be useful.
A lovely modern and comfortable apartment with lots of room. Well designed with great facilities for a few nights stay. Within walking distance to the ski lifts and a small supermarket is across the road. The city centre is a 15 minute drive. Downstairs is an amazing patisserie and cafe with beautiful cakes. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Guest House Pohorska Kavarna with our two children and friends. The location is excellent, and the free parking was a great bonus. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. We also loved the amazing patisserie within the hotel. Everything was perfect, and we would gladly come back again!

The room and bed are little small for 2 adults and a baby. But we knew this before we booked.
The room was clean. Ther are pet friendly, we accommodate with our dog for extra costs (aprox. 15 euro). very good cakes at the location's confectionery

the dark design is interesting, but a bit impractical, e.g. the frosted glass wall of the toilet with shower or the mirrors on the staircase. You know, small children leave prints easily.
the accommodation was clean, air-conditioned, in a quiet part of the city. Sleeping on the beds was amazing. Very nice service with a great and rich breakfast.

Traffic noise might be annoying in the morning, but you are in the town.
Clean and comfortable accomodation in suburbia of Maribor, few steps from cable car to Pohorje. All the shops you might need are nearby. You can take bus to city center easily. Friendly staff, great breakfast, ice cream in the house:-)
