How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The hall Could be cleaner.
Nice and quiet location near Bled. The village is very clean, beautiful. Rooms are medium size, comfy beds. We had towels, soap, parking spot which is helpful. A kitchen is available but we did not use it

Our balcony wasn't like in the photo and the owners weren't too friendly, didn't show us around (e.g. the kitchen).
The location is very nice, surrounded by mountains. Lake Bled is easily accessible by car and bicycle as well. The common kitchen is well equipped. We liked the common terrace and garden as well.

The windows could use some mosquito net,.
The Pension is a good place to stay for a few days - it is outside of Bled, so a car or bikes are needed. Situated in a very calm area. No breakfast, not even coffee, but you can use the common kitchen in the basement (we did not). Bled is easily accessible by car in 5 minutes, with shops and restaurants.

No even a cafe/ shop, bakery in this village. Host not friendly. Asked for iron, her reply “Iron, no, Iron private”. seriously not very accommodating. lack of toiletries (zero besides handwashing. Old Hair dryer.

Lovely place, a bit out of the way if you don't have a car especially off season, though if you rent a bike for a few days then you're all good getting to Bled and around

There were no laundry facilities as was advertised.
The beds were comfortable, the facilities were clean and cozy. There were no breakfasts offered, but the kitchen was very nice to use.

It was very hot and without air conditioning it is suffering. The bathroom window opened onto the balcony of another room, which is quite uncomfortable.

The church’s bell was loud more than once in an hour, so one should bring earplugs with themselves.
The kitchen was a big help, the room was modern.

Since the shower has no real ventilation apart from the in-builded fan, it was very humid whole time. Since the room we were in was pretty small, it got hot and humid from the open shower doors. There was a small bit of mold on the ceiling above the shower from the but apart from that, it was very clean and nice.
Bed was veery comfy. Owners are really nice. Room was clean, we highly appreciate ventilator in the room, since it got hot quickly. The building is 30 min of walk from Bled centre or there is free bus with air conditioning 3 times a day. Big shared kitchen with refridgerators.

- the room was very hot since we were located under the roof and there was no air conditioning but only a small ventilator - parking space was available at the accommodation for guests free of charge but only a limited amount of parking was available so sometimes you had to park on the street down below - since we had the room under the roof, we only had roof windows and no direct view outside which made the room a bit claustrophobic sometimes - the bathroom remained very damp and warm after a shower
- amazing location near Bled lake but for a very affordable price tag - clean and comfortable room with clean private bathroom - friendly host - very good towels - kitchen and refrigerators to use by guests for free

Couple of things to fix up in the bathroom. Tablecloth had to be washed.
Location was quiet place with parking very close to building. Stuff was polite and helpful.
