Staying at Vila Krista was a very pleasant experience. Vila is perfectly located, close to the city center and a gorgeous park. Vila itself is a beautiful piece of architecture and the apartment was equipped in a way that we felt very well taken care of. Matej, our host was very helpful. We will definitely choose this place again.

This historical villa is located a short walk from city center and even shorter walk from beautiful city park. The ground floor of the villa is converted into a very nice, spacious apartment with all the things you need - nice bed, perfect bathroom, functional kitchen, fast wifi, even free Nespresso coffee. The owner is very kind and interesting - if you are interested in photography, you are gonna have a blast. Checkin is simple, parking available on premises, and it is a very good value for your money. A much better stay than city hotels in my opinion.

The villa is situated in a beautiful location on the edge of an impressive city park, but very close to the city center and its attractions. The place and its neighborhood are pleasantly quiet. The villa itself is an architectural treasure that has been renovated. The apartment is comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything you need even for a longer stay. Matej is a very friendly, open and helpful host. We lived here for a whole week and returned home rested, happy and full of good memories.

We absolutely loved our stay at Vila Krista and Matej and his family were the loveliest hosts. Modern, stylish & spacious apartment in a wonderful location close to the old town of Maribor & very close to many good restaurants and cafes. Quiet and safe neighbourhood and lots of wonderful walks and bike trails close by. One of the very best apartments we have ever stayed in.

We fully enjoyed our 3-night stay in the spacious and stylish fully-equipped apartment. It was the most elegant stay of our visit to Slovenia! It is located in a tranquil neighborhood with older manors, close to a beautiful park and close as well to the city center. Vila Krista is a ground floor oversized 1BR apartment in a gorgeous historic villa located in the best part of Maribor. The location is tranquil, it offers beautiful views of the surrounding nature, is a few steps away from an amazing park and an easy walking distance to the old town and the riverfront. The garden offers a large trampoline for the kids and convenient parking. The apartment is beautifully renovated, the bed is very comfortable, there is plenty of storage space, the kitchen offers everything one needs for cooking (essentials like coffee, cereals and pasta are provided) and the bathroom is a delight. What is more, the owners are very pleasant and helpful. They live upstairs and are always sincerely happy to help with anything. All in all, a wonderful stay and now definitely our “go to” place in Maribor.

We really liked our host family – beyond any expectations. Kind, friendly, responsive and attentive. Just pure fantastic. The property was really pleasant to stay in. It's very stylish and real in comparison to an average apartment to rent. It's a place where you'll want to stay. It was our case. The apartment was so great that we spent more time there than downtown. Everything we needed was there. The kitchen was just a dream. The view from the kitchen is really nice – mountains and fields. The location was also quite comfortable – 10 minutes on foot and you are in the downtown. I can't wait to visit the place again. Strongly recommend All the best, Sergei
