How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

It was just all a little bit strange being at the back of a campground. It was a long walk to get to the river Trail and there’s no access really from the campground to the river, which was weird. Location is very far from town but we were using the buses just fine..
Nice and clean, and modern. Very quiet.

Not a hotel in the normal sense as also a camp site. However, has comfortable hotel like rooms with adjacent parking. Large swimming pool complex. Great breakfast.

Pool area was in need for some caring hand
Nice location and the pool area was nice. Breakfast was ok, but there is very nice bakery on the main street that has much better options.

Poor walls - you can hear everything that is happening outside (including the train nearby) and in the apartment next door. Pool area closes as early as at 8pm. So hard to benefit from it if you just stay overnight.
Nice location at camping. It does not feel like being in the capital city despite being not that far from the centre. Parking on the camping (thus open air) available - matters especially if you have a bigger car with roof top box). Nice breakfast. Quite good coffee for hotel-breakfast standard.

The breakfast was disappointing the onsite restaurant was very expensive. There were also pipes underneath the floor which were very hot, so it heated the room up.
The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The onsite facilities were good and it was good to have access to a bike.

It was too much controls. We bought breakfast. They gave us tickets with dates on them. Why? When we came to the breakfast they asked us for the room number as well. And I need to show ticket. Not sure why this is? You do one thing or another.
Free parking and close to trails for running.

The breakfast was not at all good quality, the hotel restaurant Stern is far too expensive and with tiny portions. There are too many rules around breakfast area, which is quite unpleasant - you are obliged to eat indoors even though there is terrace opened for the dinner.
Location is interesting, lot of greenery, by Sava River. We stayed in the inn part, the room had a shared balcony. The reception stuff is very nice.

There have to be tents that suppress more sound than the room I had...
Didn't know the resort hotel room was going to be on a camping ground, very nice looking room. Private bathroom, parking just around the corner of the room door.

Water pressure (shower) was not as strong as I would've liked. Pictures were a bit misleading, but I guess it depends on the room you are given.
Check in was really smooth, staff was friendly and spoke English very well. Room was clean, everything worked as it should. Location of the resort was convenient and hotel provides you with information about nearby stores and food place options. Overall our stay was a positive experience. Terrace was spacious.

Close to railway / it can be loud.
Center of Ljubljana is easily accessible. Located in the green area of the city next to the river. Perfect for a short stay and city break Super renovated bathroom.

Staffs were not available! Receptionists just work during the day, however, some services, like borrowing an ironing board, totally require them!

Breakfast its really nothing special, in my opinion better take without breakfast and eat in some other place.
Its good if you are travelling with car, not close to the city center. Free parking and ok rooms.

There’s an extra cleaning fee of €12 when bringing a pet. The cleaning staff comes too early in the morning, and if you miss the cleaning cycle, they don’t come back to clean the room.
There’s gated private parking, which is very easy to access, and the car stays close by the room. Reception is extremely friendly and welcoming. I had a great time staying here.

there were no slippers in the room, there was only one shower shampoo and the door didn't close properly

We stayed in a 3-bed room that was modern looking and spacious. Heating was working well the whole evening, which was great since it was a very cold night. Both room and bathroom were very clean and had all the basic amenities. The staff at the reception was very pleasant and gave us all the important information about the hotel and Ljubljana in general.
