The stairs at night time could have done with a little more light, as the solar lights didn't give enough brightness, might be they just need moving to recharge

Simon was a very friendly host. He was attentive to telling us what was about and where to go. He also gave us a bottle of wine and chocolate as a welcome gift. The Katarina is well placed and central to most things. The rooms were ample, and the garden had a nice patio to sit out on, and all rooms had doors leading to this.

Location is superb, close to all attractions and convenient to shops and dining. Facilities were excellent as was the host.

Katarina is a beautiful 2 bedroom fully equipped appartment. The host met us and was very friendly and welcoming with wine and chocolate. Everything was very clean and well appointed. The location was close to the centre of Bled with a small supermarket a few hundred meteres away for supplies. the kitchen was fully equipped and the washing machine very useful. The terrace was large with a small garden area to enjoy as well. Free private parking was provided.

The place is very clean and comfortable, the hostess was very careful and took care of all the details to make the place feel like home. It is about 20 minutes away from Gardaland.

Excellent location, host speaking English perfectly. Close to the city center and the lake. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds, kitchen with everything you might need. Great outdoor place for grillparty, if you bring your stuff.

It would be better to have a lock box or an entry key pad to get into the home instead of having to rush and plan our day around having to meet up with the host to get the keys. However, if that was the case, we would have never figured out how the parking brake works as that's not a thing in the U.S. and we would have never found our parking spot and then would have been mad that we didn't have a parking spot. But maybe that could be fixed with additional instructions inside the house on the desk.

The location was the best part. This house is just barely off the crowded beaten path, just perfectly located for a family looking for a little extra room. I was traveling with my 2 adult kids and my 14 year old; the set up was great for the 5 of us. The owner lives upstairs but not really around. You get the downstairs. The host was very hospitable and made us feel very welcome; I very much enjoyed our stay and would stay again if I return. I will recommend my friends stay here if they visit the area.

Simon exceeds all expectations with this gem of a property. The property itself is extremely well furbished with everything you might need. The small garden was thoroughly enjoyed by our kids and the car was parked just down a few steps. The locations is superb with almost everything within walking distance. Simon went out of his way to ensure we have a pleasant stay and is the most gracious host.

The apartement is in a perfect place, both the castle and lake are in walking distance. The owner was helpful and nice, he even left us some welcome gifts. The apartement was clean and had enough room for 4 people. It had a small balcony that was shaded and perfect for dinners and breakfasts. Overall I can only recommend the place.

We stayed 5 nights, it was in a great location and had everything we needed. We had the small grassed outdoor area to ourselves and outdoor table setting. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

Close to lake in walking 4 minutes. Few coffee shops and restaurants around. Big supermarket in few minutes drive. Private parking. Good kitchen.

Exceptional apartment in great position 5min walk to Bled Lake. The kitchen and rooms have all appliances and accessories to the tiniest details (dishwasher, microwave, toaster, water cattle, fast wifi). The host, Mr. Simon, was very polite and helpful, greeting us with chocolate and beverages upon arrival.

The shower had a leak somewhere and after we took our showers, water continued to leak out making the floor wet for a few hours.

location was great being close to Bled center, supermarket and restaurants. kitchen was well equipped and there were sufficient dishes that we didn’t have to run the dishwasher but once a day. The apartment was spacious especially the living room. Host was nice and left us a bottle of wine and a big bar of chocolate and invited us to pick apples from his trees.

There is a single bathroom for 2 bedrooms and one of the bedrooms is quite small. However, these are minor issues.

Location is fantastic. Bus station and super market are very close. The lake is also very close if you take the stairs down. Free private parking is a big plus. Apartment kitchen is well stocked in terms of utensils and amenities. Simon is a great host.
