Only minor issues were that there was no common area for the guests so it was quite lonely as a solo traveller, it was very hot with only a small fan in the room (this was not the fault of the accomodation!), and for the 4 private rooms upstairs there was only one combined bathroom so you would often have to wait.

The location couldn’t have been better. It is set on the river and is close to the old town, great cafes, the market and bus and train station. About the place, the staff were very knowledgeable, accommodating and responsive and having a kitchen was very useful.

No aircon in room, shared bathroom between too many rooms (we stayed in private room with shared bathroom). Squeaky bed, only one pillow each and the fridge didn’t really keep anything cool.

Excellent location next to the canal and easy to find. Within a 10 minute walk of train station and the main square.

I was bitten all over my body by some insects in Ljubljana. I’m not sure it was mosquitoes at Ljubljana castle or in the hostel. The bed seemed clean when I checked in.

It’s an old house and walls are rather thin. If people shower (next door) at 2 am, you’ll hear it for sure so bring earplugs.

The hostel is located in the city centre not far away in walking distance of anything in Ljubljana. The double room under the roof is nice, offers a little fridge and is quite spacious with a comfortable bed. Staff is very helpful and the laundry service which they offered was very handy and speedy (as long ad you provide your clothes in the early morning). For me it was really a good value for the money.

Please make it aware to people in advance that is a €10 (refundable) deposit for a locker as not everyone has cash on them.

The H20 Hostel was very clean and affordable. The beds are comfortable and the facilities are good. I had some great roommates which made the stay even better. Don't be fooled by all the graffiti outside making it look rough, it's not and it's fine.

Very, very noisy outside our room. Some of this was staff in the morning. It’s such a shame the rooms aren’t single sex as I had creepy, inconsiderate men in mine and felt intimidated.

Great location and appreciated the kitchen. Clean. Staff varied from lovely and helpful to ambivalent.

The staff is rude we come almost 9pm last night april 23,2025 and we talk to the lady if its possible we extend the time until 5pm in next day. She said yes and she charge it in our bill. So we are expecting we will check out at 5pm. But when we came back the the room at 3:30 pm our things is already outside and the lady who were in the duty now said that we are supposed to leave at 10am with our things. We paid for extra hours and they are like that. We explained her about the situation. But she didn't even want to listen. So I will not comeback again here.

Not enough cooking and dining utensils in the room. No towels provided only pillows and blankets.

Location is superb. Staff are very helpful They give a lot o suggestions on how to maximize our stay in Ljubljana and how to save money on tours and other expenses. Its a hostel, but we were given a private room with private bathroom and kitchen. Thus, it goes beyond my expectation of a hostel.

Was confused because the hostel I'd booked next door was closed, but this is under same management & they refunded me/just checked me in here instead, so all good.

Perfect location right on the river in the centre. Friendly staff, bright & breezy, clean & functional. Not a great meeting spot nor communal as such, but I'd been travelling in January & whizzing about Veneto, kinda needing a rest, and this place was just the ticket. Ljubljana was a wee side trip to say hello, having last passed through this way with barely a glance 40 years ago. A very pleasant official introduction to Slovenia. I'll be back another time to do more justice. Hvala, dobri ljudje.

Nice and avaiable staff, clean sheets, room and bathroom. The separator offers a little privacy (you don't see other people bed from yours). Excellent location on the river side, next to the dragons bridge.
