How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Would be great to have more stores, caffes or fast foods. We had to go out of resort to get pastry.
Very nice hotel, extraordinary breakfast, nice beach, villas close to beach front, everything really clean and cozy.

We were in the villa surrounded by rooms occupied by a summer children’s camp
Excellent location for a family trip. Private beach, clean and quite. Good meals as well.

For the sauna you need to pay extra. The walls are very thin so you can hear the neighbours. Not much was open. The beach was quite dirty, it was not peak season though.
Safe to let the kids walk around. The room and the facilities were clean. Great breakfast apart from the coffee selections (but you can buy proper coffee).

Everything is so great, clean, neat. We were staying in olive suite and the room was so spacious, spotless and comfortable. Bed is amazing, slept like a baby and woke up so rested. We had 2 balconies both with a sea view. Breakfast was amazing, so many choices, everything so neatly arranged and they even helped us to seat us together as we were a bigger group. Staff is really kind, eager to help.

We have just returned home from a wonderful holiday in Slovenia. So it's time to sum up, starting from the beginning, the road to Villa Adriatic from us is very short because it is about 492 km (Bayern/Slovenien), you have to pass Austria and so vignettes, Tauern tunnel and Karawanken tunnel, the cost for both ways is 80 euros for 10 days, Slovenian vignette for 10 days costs 20 euros. Lots of traffic on the roads and many traffic jams. The reception itself at the reception was very nice, specific and professional, possibility of conversation in different languages. At 14 our room was ready, clean and fragrant. In the room everything you need, beds, TV, bathroom and fridge additionally payable 5 euros per day, safe also in the room. Large wardrobe and balcony just in our room. In our accommodation we could also use the indoor and outdoor swimming pool, which was a big plus during one cloudy day. The water in the pools comes from the sea, but it is filtered. Here is a small discrepancy - the sauna was supposed to be included in the price on the booking, but on site you had to pay 25 euros for 4 hours. But that was no problem. There is no typical beach here, there are places to lie on the grass under the trees, the closer to the water, the more stones, right by the sea there is a place to walk and stairs leading to the water, everything is of course nice and well-kept. There are places to eat, there is also a separate swimming area, supervised by a lifeguard. Inflatables for jumping, water bikes, a water pier, two to be exact. Sea water, clean, warm. There are no breakwaters, but the waves are not very big. In the afternoon we had our first dinner, a very large selection, a buffet. You can choose your food, we have from fruit to meat, ice cream and cakes. The only small minus is that there is no drink during dinner, you have to buy it yourself. Dinners changed every day and there were different to choose from, very good and tasty.

To be honest the breakfast was a really bad experience, it was too crowded - to many people in a small place.
The feeling was nice at the evening.

one evening we had water from upper villa in our bathroom, all what happened was, that technic man came to check it, but we hade to clean it by ourselves, nobody cares if we need something in this issue.
inside swimming pool in resort with warm water, but “strange” system of lockers (we had to wait several minutes for reception to explain us how it works).
