Lack of the outlets in the houses. We found only two. Be prepared to take power extension if you travel in group to charge phones.

A charming place located close to the border between Sweden and Norway. Clean room, a really good bed and a 5 minutes walk to several shoppingmalls. Also 7 minutes walk to restaurants nearby. Turistgården is a charming place close to the canal. I can highly recommend it and I would love to stay there again.

House number 24 needs the refrigerator to be checked. It was working , but noisy. Recommendation for staff: please add outlets for telephone charging.

The kitchen for guest use in house one wasn't very clean. Especially the appliances were sticky. Handicap toilet wasn't very handicap friendly, except for extra space. (No handrails). If you have a room in house one, be prepared for noise before 7 o clock, mostly voices from the kitchen. It's an old house, so sound travels.

The beds were comfortable. The hostel is situated along the river, and i ate my dinner in the sun outside, which was lovely. You get what you pay for. Close to shops and lovely walking along the river.

The host was extremely nice and kindly waited for us even after check-in time. Communication was fast and efficient. Nice and clean room. Lovely location, too bad we couldn't stay much time there.

It should be noted that buildings are wooden and are very audible. If there are louder guests, then you'll hear everything. Extra charge €10 each for bed linen is very expensive considering it's a hostel. Along with the cost of the room, a hostel meets for the price of the hotel. Although you don't have a separate room, but just a room with a shared shower and a toilet. Outdoor areas were not finished, looked like a construction site.

A brilliant location is the main reason we chose this accommodation. There's water and grace next to the hotel, where you can go and sit. 5 minutes away is a grocery store and various other stores. Everything was very clean and enjoyable.

Very nice and cozy hotel. We stayed for one night only on the way to Norway. The location is great, just beside the river, and very close to the shopping center. The staff was very helpful. Everything was extremely clean.

This isn't a great place to stay for a family. Most guests seemed to be business people on route elsewhere and it would be ideal for that. Tocksfors itself was also the ugliest and most depressing place we saw in Scandinavia. Can't really blame the Turistgarden for that though!

Staff were very helpful and moved us when couple in a neighbouring room were being very loud and strange.

There was no hairdryer, a big deal for me. I couldn't imagine that such places don't have at least one hairdryer. It was strange to see two disposable plastic cups in the room, what are they for?

The breakfast was very modest. But the room was very nice, large, especially impressed that almost the whole wall was in the windows, they overlooked the river. There was a kitchen with utensils and appliances nearby - very convenient.

Even though the place is listed as a youth hostel it was possible to get a hotel-stay. Our room was nice with almost an extra room where you could sit and relax. The breakfast was simple but still had everything we wanted.

Some people might find the rooms a bit noisy as the buildings are old: you will hear if someone is using the common facilities etc. yet we got a good night sleep anyway and were able to continue our way relaxed the next morning.

Comfortable, easy and simple place to stay on our way to Oslo. Friendly and helpful staff. Good shops nearby.

I have no negative experience.

Very friendly staff. I got a room upgrade for silence for free. It was a very hot day and a large silent fan gave me adequate cooling. The view from the room was magnificient with water channel outside. The breakfast was simple but it was felt like home.
