The big firepit was amazing we made s'mores and ate way to many so we got sick. Great location away from all the busy spots. The sauna even though we never used it looked pretty comfortable. Overall a great place with great hosts who are helpfull with requests. The trampoline is amazing when traveling with kids. Although smaller rooms it's lovely and cozy with a maximum of 7 sleeping spots if needed. Sleeping couch was comfortabel as well.

One main cabin and one family cabin and one cabin with kitchen, bathroom with a sauna inside. Outside was like oase with lots of light, beautiful at night time and of course the good sized hot tub. A really idyllic place and the hosts was very nice. Recommend this place.

The backyard was a bit slippery, but who can be blamed with all that snow!

If it's raining for multiple days you may need a plan B, or to be geared up for it. The indoors area is not big enough for a full family to stay indoors for a very long time, but that is to be expected given the information on here.

The location and scenery is breathtaking. The forest is at your doorstep and lake Vänern just a short walk away. If you want a break and to get closer to nature, this is ideal. If the weather doesn't play nice, you are very close to Karlstad. The option to stay in to work or socialize is also a good one, but remember it's not a huge cabin. The 5G mobile coverage is excellent and you can game or stream for days. I can highly recommend this place, unless you really need a bathroom right by the bed. There is kitchen, toilet, shower and sauna in another house approximately 10 meters from the two cabins. The owner is friendly as well.

Bathroom/kitchen cabin is about 20m from bedrooms, so at night and rain, it may feel a bit uncomfortable to use it, but we had lovely weather and it was not an issue for us.

If you like quiet and interesting places this is the one to stay in! Nice host, very helpful. We booked both rooms, so kitchen, bathroom with sauna and jacuzzi was for us only (it might be a bit uncomfortable if you share it with strangers). Lots of things for younger kids to explore, playground. Wonderful location in the woods, 10min walk to the lake beach. Blueberries everywhere. Really recommend!

It would be great if the cottages had signs saying „community Kittchen & sauna“, „toilet“,… So you could find it easier. Everything else was perfect and I have nothing to complain about. :)

If you want to relax, go there! You have a Sauna, Jacuzzi and you can hear nothing but the birds and crickets. It’s close to a lake you can jump in after heating up in the sauna. You have everything you need like toilet and shower. The hosts informs you about everything in a message before.

A very nice and special place in the forest close to Lake Vänern. Very lovely small huts and a tree house for the Kids to play. As we were only one night and wheather was against us we did Not make User of the jacuzzi, but it looked nice. I would recommend to get both houses as they are really close to each other.

Shared kitchen, bathroom, sauna, shower are all in 1...this makes privacy a bit of an issue. If someone is using the shower, the toilet is also in use. Likewise with sauna and sink. This is a bit of an inconvenience.

This is a lovely place to spend a night.m There are actually only 2 units (and we were there alone). Surroundings are beautiful. Check in and check out is left up to the guest (email with all details). Sauna, Jacuzzi, shower etc. all provided. rooms are small, but adequate for a stay in the forest.

It was a downside that we had to walk through the rain to the main cabin for the toilet. But I guess that is something we could have known when booking.

We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and the view on all the beautiful trees. The host was really friendly as well. Both our cabin and the facilities cabin was really clean.
