IndiaShortage of fans for rooms in the scorching heat. Rooms were warm and we only got one table fan for 2 rooms. Also, parking is a bit expensive with very small and congested parking slots for cars specially for big SUVs.
One of the best staff hotel I have seen, very friendly and welcoming. Surely recommend for everyone, specially for families with small children.

United KingdomThis place is a real home from home with very welcoming staff. It is an attractive hotel, the front part being a historic building and there are photos around the hotel to explain the history. There is a free buffet dinner included in the price as well as an excellent breakfast. And waffles mid-afternoon! They also did a bag of laundry for us, useful since we were on a long trip. The hotel is situated near the river and the town hall, an easy 15 minutes from the station. Our room was a good size with all we needed.

I liked their catering crew who worked hard to ensure we had enough stuff to eat. The menu itself is also quite nutritious. Rooms are spacious and well-isolated and bathrooms had all essentials. The enclosed backyard attached to the restaurant is what makes this place truly special in the summer time!

Being in a foreign city we appreciated that all the meals were included and the quality of the food was very good - saved us looking for ages for somewhere to eat as we are not the most decisive people! It used to be a medical center and the room is unexpectedly spacious, comfortable. The staffs are very friendly. It has an indoor parking garage. Breakfast is good. You can make your own waffle, coffee for whole day. Nice and relax. Walking distance to the nice surroundings. Definitely stay again if we visit this place again.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Very friendly staff and an unbelievably amazing service. The breakfast and dinner included was truly amazing on both nights. The extra waffles you got for free between 15.00 and 16.00 were just an amazing bonus, especially when traveling with a family. Definitely a must go back to hotel when in Umeå.

GermanyIn my opinion there is hardly room for improvement. However, I would appreciate a bigger gym.
Overall the best package in Umea. Very friendly and helpful staff. Gym, Sauna, Breakfast/Dinner/Fika all included, big rooms, great location. I had travelled to Umea many times and therefore seen many different hotels. However, for my needs (young family) this one is definitely the best.

United StatesTaxi services are non-existent -- that company makes Clarion Hotels look bad.
Front Desk staff had to call the taxicab company that Clarion has an agreement with for exclusivity. You should cancel that contract with the cab company due to a NO-SHOW after repeated attempts and promises to perform transportations services. We had to walk in cold weather to the hotel!

All was good. Reception staff were very helpful, dinner and breakfast was included. Dinner was buffet and from hot meat was only chicken but that was enough. There were potatoes and a lot of different cuts and salads and little things. Drinks had to be purchased separately. We enjoyed everything. Nothing to fault. The bed was comfortable.

Everything was amazing, from checking in to check out. I was at Christmas eve there but the staff are all there to support us and being very helpful. I wish all the best for them. The room is quite spacious and I got the view to the church. I can see my car parked there. The parking space is somehow limited. The food is great and quiet complete. I had a great dinner and breakfast.
