The hotel needs to improve lighting for reading in bed.

The hotel is well-located adjacent to the city center which has multiple pedestrian ways unfettered by autos. The dining room was open late which was essential since our train was so late.

Due to early check-out, I asked if it was possible to get a takeaway breakfast. Of course, the girls at the reception confirmed this option. I was even asked about my allergies and whether I also wanted coffee. It was very nice. So I didn't buy anything to eat. Unfortunately, nothing was prepared for us in the morning. The lady at the reception was surprised. Tragic attitude towards Guests.

A place with an idea. The interior design required a lot of work and certainly makes the hotel unique.

Don't stay here on the weekend or public holiday as the hotel faces a night club. The noise from the music kept me awake most of the night. As the building is old there was not a lot of sound proofing of the windows. I mentioned it staff but they responded that I had chosen to stay in the city.

Amazing decor and great breakfast. Like being near the river too. The room was furnished with wonderful collection of items. Coffee machine was great.

The view was to an opposing office building, no vegan spread at breakfast.

The hotel is a rather quirky and personable stay in Umea. The breakfast was fantastic and the room generally pleasant, although the view could've been improved. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind throughout my stay. The breakfast catered satisfactorily to a vegan diet, but what was there was delicious.

The light in the bathroom was extremely dim! it would have been nice with bright lights atleast in the bathroom or the mirror.

The interior was very unique, the breakfast exquisite (especially the bread from kulturbageriet) the location was very central and close to the beautiful river.

Very confusing breakfast area. We found a table near the bakery and when looking around the food a very short woman came and questioned us with long face: where we are from and which hotel we stayed.

very small plates at breakfast, but at least a sign saying you can eat as much as you like. Hairdryer, iron and ladders up to upper bed had not been cleaned. Dust everywhere. No fridge in the room and a very small shower (the shower itself was very good, but more space even for a thin person like me would have been nice)

Great location and a chance to leave bags before check in. Lovely inside square with restaurant, shop and cafe plus access to library. Organic products and italian specialities sold in a food store. Special decor and style.

Room is Tiny and dark. Only one small window which could not be opened. And limited amenities..no fridge, no water boiler.

Very stylish and unique design. An excellent location for exploring the city and easy airport access. Excellent breakfast quality.
