It’s huge, was not expecting how large the facilities were. Incredibly clean bathrooms, plenty of space to get changed and whatnot. Well equipped kitchen. And the rooms were spacious.

May be a positive for some, but it was almost empty of people, so not really any opportunities to speak with other hikers.

The location was very good (walking distance to the train station). We arrived after the reception was closed ; there was provision for us to pick up the key to our room after hours.

Central location, uncomplicated check in even when arriving late

Very accommodating and nice staff. Great facilities with parking in garage as an option which I really appreciated.

Accomodation was near railwaystation and shopping centre. Room was very clean.

Nothing

Nice location next to the campus in an beautifull building (exterior). And some parts inside looked modern. Employee at the desk was very friendly and helpfull.

Towels and bedsheets not included. They cost at least 9 euro's per person. Also the rooms are poorly ventilated and are quite smelly. Hygiene in the rooms seem poor. Also there are 24 rooms but there is only one shower room with 3 showers for men and I guess the same for women.

Very comfortable and spacious 8 bed dorm. Great bathrooms, kitchen and lounge area. Breakfast buffet is worth it!

Bed was niet chill

I hadn't heard of STF before but now will try to stay at them when I travel in other parts of Sweden. They had great facilities - big well equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge area. This time I stayed in a single en suite room and last time in the dorm room. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need. The staff were really helpful. Had all the facilities of a good hostel, but most rooms aren't dorm rooms.

Sheets and towels aren't included, though you can hire them. The front desk is only staffed until 3pm, though check in was straightforward as they sent information on how to get your key card. Just make sure you get in touch beforehand if you need sheets.

My second time staying and this time I had a single room with a shower and access to the rooftop, it was very nice. Good size room as well. Also discovered the kitchen and common area which were cozy and accessible.

You can really hear anything going on outside of the room so earplugs are highly recommended for light sleepers. The toilet had a smell of sewage.

Big hostel with good facilities. Really well equipped kitchen, everything was clean. It’s also very central and easily reachable.

Lack of a social environment (could be down to the fact I stayed in october - not exactly high season).

Location and common areas

The dorms were very uncomfortable and there were not dorms for women only. The women’s showers were very dirty and you could see mold on the walls and shower curtains. The kitchen was dirty, the ovens and the fridges No shits to protect the mattress or pillow, and the duvet doesn’t have a cover/sheet either. And I saw people just using the same that someone else used the night before. No replacement because no one keeps track of the dorms. No signs of deep cleaning. The reception closes at 15.00 and no one is there until next morning at 08.00
