May be a positive for some, but it was almost empty of people, so not really any opportunities to speak with other hikers.

It’s huge, was not expecting how large the facilities were. Incredibly clean bathrooms, plenty of space to get changed and whatnot. Well equipped kitchen. And the rooms were spacious.

Sheets and towels aren't included, though you can hire them. The front desk is only staffed until 3pm, though check in was straightforward as they sent information on how to get your key card. Just make sure you get in touch beforehand if you need sheets.

I hadn't heard of STF before but now will try to stay at them when I travel in other parts of Sweden. They had great facilities - big well equipped kitchen, dining room, lounge area. This time I stayed in a single en suite room and last time in the dorm room. The rooms are basic but clean and have everything you need. The staff were really helpful. Had all the facilities of a good hostel, but most rooms aren't dorm rooms.

You can really hear anything going on outside of the room so earplugs are highly recommended for light sleepers. The toilet had a smell of sewage.

My second time staying and this time I had a single room with a shower and access to the rooftop, it was very nice. Good size room as well. Also discovered the kitchen and common area which were cozy and accessible.

It is very basic but you have what you need to manage. Breakfast and sheets are not included in the price (but can be purchased upon request). The room was small but clean, however the pillows and covers were quite old. It would have been nice if the shared toilet had some basic commodities like shower gel and hair dryer etc.

Very convenient location right next to the Mid Sweden University campus. Good for a short stay, calm, decent price and helpful staff

There are just 2 showers for ladies and they‘re not super clean. So better bring some slippers for the showers.

Very good location and super friendly staff! I booked extra towels and sheets and it was no problem! The kitchen is super well equipped and there‘s a nice dining area as well as comfortable chill area. The bed was fine and there were a lot of nice people. Had a great time!

I wish these hostels would have a little bit more basic cooking ingredients on hand, they had salt, but sugar and some oil would've been nice.

There should be restrictions and penalties for the cars and drivers that make -intentionnaly- loud noise at any time (just in the parking behind for instance). Other guests I've talked to complained they couldn't sleep well because of the noise. I do know it is not the hostel's responsability at all, but maybe some people upper should be aware of this, and take more action (by giving the police more means).

It's good to feel like home.

Towels and bedsheets not included. They cost at least 9 euro's per person. Also the rooms are poorly ventilated and are quite smelly. Hygiene in the rooms seem poor. Also there are 24 rooms but there is only one shower room with 3 showers for men and I guess the same for women.

Nice location next to the campus in an beautifull building (exterior). And some parts inside looked modern. Employee at the desk was very friendly and helpfull.
