I really can’t think of anything I didn’t like! Air conditioning would have been nice but we didn’t think it was necessary.

This property could not be more out of a fairytale if it tried. It is absolutely charming, so pretty, so tranquil set by the water. We loved our stay here and will recommend this property to everyone who will listen. The food was exceptional, staff wonderful. Yes, there is no air conditioning but we stayed in July and opened our huge French doors at night and the cool air came in. Just a darling hotel which made our Stockholm experience so special. I wish I was coming back again soon! Bus stop from town is right outside and down the road about 50m and we walked back from the city one day which was a good walk but not at all arduous. Felt like a very safe neighbourhood at all times.

The breakfast servers, especially one blond older woman were not friendly, their service did not make us feel comfortable, and were the only negative part of our experience.

Near a big road . There are buses easily to the centre only take 15 mins but you need to walk through a very busy road with construction work to get there.

Loved the food at the restaurant ! It was amazing . Breakfast good too. Lovely to be near the park . Lovely decor in the hotel. Great staff . Really nice place.

Maintenance of gardens and grounds was not up to par with the rate. Disappointing to see weeds and unkempt shrubs and bushes. Weddings occurred on Saturday night and music played until 5am. Would have been nice to have made sure they shut down earlier especially since with no AC you had to have windows open at night.

It seemed to be in a need of a exterior upgrade. The inner garden was overgrown and could have been so much prettier and in more use. A little boring breakfast with the same everyday, but somerhing for everyone.

Nice location to both city centre and nature and parks. Easy access around Stockholm by SL transportation app. The hotel has lots of character and charm.

I could not see hair dryer, slippers in the bathroom. I needed to take a shower but could not.

Setting on the lake, ease of getting into central Stockholm on a bicycle. Free parking for the car. Great food in the restaurant. When I asked for a kettle in the room it was delivered very promptly. Staff were really helpful about charging our electric bikes. Loved the garden behind the hotel where they grow fruit for their menu.

Some maintenance in the bathroom But we reported that and I am sure it will Be fixed. The room was a little cramped with both of our luggage spread out but we managed.

We loved the proximity to the lake and ambience. It was fairly accessible to public transport after a short walk due to roadworks. The staff were excellent and very helpful. The breakfast was amazing and even my vegan daughter was satisfied with what was available for her to eat.

Nice hotel, the backside at the lake is very pleasant. The hotel is located at a very busy crossroad where a lot of construction was going on, but I assume this improves in the future. The breakfast was fantastic.

It is quite some distance from the centre and next to extensive road works , however once at the property these do not affect you but it’s off putting on arrival .

The view over the lake and nearby walks to Haga Park . The staff were all very friendly and an excellent breakfast.

The location is not optimal. The connection with public transit could be better and the nearby roads are quite noisy. We had a road-side room, I guess you the experience is much better and nicer with a room giving on the courtyard...? It would be great if the hotel could provide some bikes for its visitors (like other hotels do), that would make things much more convenient.

Really a very nice hotel next to the Brunnsviken lake, with its old-school charm, a welcoming staff and a good breakfast buffet. Happy with our stay there!

We loved our stay at Stallmästaregården — a peaceful retreat perfectly located by the lake and Hagaparken, yet just minutes from central Stockholm. The rooms were stylish, comfortable, and ideal for our family, including our 7-year-old daughter who adored exploring the nearby park. Breakfast was excellent, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the whole experience felt relaxed yet special. We’d happily return!

The traffic outside the window was rather loud -- it wasn't so nice to keep the windows shut almost all the time to avoid noise. Quite a lot of construction taking place around the hotel currently too.

Really nice place. When I travel to Stockholm next time, I'll definitely check availability here. Everyone was super friendly, and the breakfast was really fantastic! Also, I found it neat that while I was informed at the reception that they don't have a freely accessible coffee machine and that I would have to buy one at the bar, at the bar they always offered me the coffee for free. Nice touch. Thank you!
