- There were a small "lack of fork" crisis during breakfast while staying there. No big issue but may be an indication of low number of staff or need of more cutlery during peak times.

+ It is adequate and does the job well! It is at a great location if you need a place to stay while you are passing close Söderhamn. To stay here, you do not need to enter into the city. There are lots of parking slots. + The hotel looks a bit like a US style roadside motel from outside. It is of course understandable this may be the case if one does not want to go into the city. Nevertheless, before going into the hotel, I was not sure if I would have stayed here if I were traveling solo. After entering the building, it feels ok and safe. I would use this place even if I were driving solo. + The room was as in the photos. Our room was looking into an area with trees and we did not hear any noise from the motorway. The water from shower was hot with good pressure. The curtains did a good job of blocking the sunlight. (The lack of proper curtains tend to be an issue in hotels in this price range in Sweden for some reason.) + The breakfast was good. Compared to a higher star location we stayed in the same trip, it seemed to have almost exactly the same range with better cereal diary corner and less meat options here but with slightly worse presentation overall. + Our room had a small hairdryer (which seem to be an issue in the other reviews). The room also had a kettle with some some tea bags and instant-coffee.

This isn’t so much of a big deal but the room I stayed in was one of the rooms which hadn’t been modernised so the furniture was out dated and the room was dark. Also in the bathroom the silicone around the shower seemed a DIY job which made the room look very unprofessional. The whole room and bathroom was clean though.

I was travelling from Haparanda to Blekinge and the hotel is nearly exactly half way. It’s really easy to access from the main road which was nice after driving such a long way. The young girl at reception was really nice (don’t know what her name was) I arrived later in the evening and the restaurant was not open (it’s not open on Sundays anyway) but the girl offered me a sandwich then helped me try and find a restaurant I could get hot food. The breakfast was very good! I read a few other peoples reviews on here that said they could hear the traffic from the main road but I didn’t. The room I stayed in was silent! No complaints there from me.

Breakfast was excellent, a lot of choice and a good one. Location is great if you consider wider area, but if you look only Soderhamn it a little out of all the activities. But still 10 minutes walk is refreshing to go to city center.

Maybe it would be better to have some instructions on the breakfast appliances like waffle maker or orange juice press, for us who aren't familiar with them and don't want to make a mess

Very comfortable beds, clean and fresh rooms. The pool was great, the sauna amazing. All to ourselves, don't know if it's always like that or we were just lucky. Everything we needed and more. Breakfast was delicious, a great variety of foods and drinks. Water cooker in the room, definitely a plus
