Nothing was out of place. Smart details all over the place, and good night light.

All in all, the location is very characteristic and pleasant, our room welcoming and clean. Breakfast was abundant and varied, and the staff friendly and willing to support. So we could not be more happy about the experience at this property, definitely to recommend!

We could not be happier with our stay at Sköllengården!! Great location with fantastic views and such a nice couple hosting us and sharing recommendations for the local area. Very nice with local beers and wines and really recommend to book the restaurant at the stay which sorted a great meal in a very cozy setting. Rooms and brekkie also great and we felt just at home. Keep in mind that this was ‘out of season’ so probably even better during the summer times. Thank you!!

The bathroom had a small issue with leaking water but nothing too bad to handle

Each room has a wonderful view on the fields and the sea from the small balcony. The room was spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. We really liked the breakfast, especially the fresh products used. The sauna is a lovely addition to the hotel. The owner of the hotel took some time to explain what to do in the area and the staff in general was kind and helpful.

Everything was perfect, but for the fact that we had to leave.

Located in an idyllic setting between land and sea, you'll find this gem filled with warmth, coziness and those small details that makes a good guesthouse a great guesthouse. Gustav and his wife take great measures to give their guests that feeling of being home away from home. The breakfast was exceptional, filled with locally sourced bread, herring, juices, catering to everyone's particular taste. The main sitting room, where one can play board games and enjoy local craft beer or nice wines only lend further to the convivial, warm setting. The bed is incredibly comfortable with ample room space and a magnificent terrace with a view of the coastline. In the garden you'll find a beautiful apple tree bearing fruit which Gustav gave us license to pick from. All in all, an absolute gem.

We stayed at three different bed and breakfasts during our trip to Skåne Österlen, this was the most expensive however not the best one. The rooms felt a bit outdated, no side table on one side of the bed but random trinkets and things that were mostly in the way. The bathroom walls had started to yellow. Probably possible to pressure wash clean if they wanted to. The room was also poorly soundproofed so we heard everything going on in the next door kitchenette. Probably easily remedied with soft close on the cabinets and drawers and a better door to the room. The room was mostly clean however we found melted chocolate or something brown and sticky behind the curtain. Glad we found it before our dog did! One of the three lightbulbs didn’t work in the bathroom. The breakfast was ok. Bread was dry and the warm food didn’t have a lid so it was barely warm. But as I wrote generally a good and wide spread. A bunch of small things that brought the experience down a bit.

Cute farm house converted bed and breakfast outside of Simrishamn. Decently comfortable and good location with view of the Baltic. Wide breakfast spread. They accept dogs if you pay extra 200 sek.

Gustav was a wonderful host and the young woman who waited on us at dinner was so friendly and nice. They truly made us feel at home and the property could not be more beautiful. The decor was also stunning and thoughtfully chosen. The restaurant food was wonderful and the location was gorgeous.
