Breakfast was very crowded so we had to sit outside in the yard which was a bit chilly.

Middle-Class Hotel in Vasastan. The metro is just around the corner so it’s easy to get around the city. This is an old townhouse which is nicely renovated. The rooms are small, the bathroom tiny. The staff is friendly and there’s free tea and coffee available And: There was a Jazz-Session at Hellsten - the partner hotel across the street - on Saturday evening that was great!

We had been placed at the top floor of the hotel, so the roof was cutting space from the room. It was not unpleasant, but there were moments where it felt that the ceiling was too close. In addition, the room was a bit old, so a renovation would be a thing to be considered in my opinion. Concerning the breakfast, it was OK. It had all the necessary things, but the number of refills could be higher. The breakfast was served until 10.

The location of the hotel was excellent with a train station in a 2-minute walking range. In fact, the Gamla stan was reachable even by walking (30 minutes). The hotel was clean with polite staff.

Such a soft uncomfortable bed and pillows. Two very bad night sleeps. For me it was a long way from the centre and waterfront. Train close, but not direct to tourist area, needed to change to tram....easier to walk, but a fair distance.

Clean, tidy. Good bathroom. Very good breakfast, hot and cold choices. Decent size rooms.Liked the age of surroundings . Cobblestones through to breakfast area.

Great place to visit Stockholm. The hotel is located close to an underground station (Radmansgatan) and many restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. The hotel offers a large breakfast buffet including warm and cold dishes, various breads, cereals, fruits,... Within a walking distance you can reach many restaurants and bars in Drottninggatan and the observatory park.

An air conditioner in the room would have been nice, it was really hot outside (which I was told was a surprise for them also).

The walls were a bit scuffed so the room could do with a fresh coat of paint but it's a minor quibble about an otherwise lovely stay.

The standard of cleanliness, the comfort of the bed and the choice at breakfast were all top notch. The staff were very helpful, particularly after a flight delay and a very late check in! Even without air conditioning, the room was comfortable at night in the middle of summer. The hotel is in a very nice area and next to a metro station that will have you anywhere in Stockholm in minutes. For one person, my room was ideal.

The breakfast could have more variety, especially for vegetarians like different fruits, different jams, and different kinds of bread. I think the floor of the room was unclean when we checked in, which was later on cleaned on room service.

Overall everything is very good. Breakfast amazing and high quality food and choice, staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is perfect, easy to reach majority of the "most wanted places" in 30-40 mins walk. Will definitely be back next time .

I had booked a parking place in the hotel garage beforehand, just to discover on the day on my arrival that they had overbooked the garage and I had lost my reserved place. This was a bit unsettling, but they did suggest alternative parking solutions and in the end everything went smoothly.

The room was cosy for a small stay. The breakfast was amazing and employers were friendly and helpful. They had coffee and tea available in the reception room, which I thought was a friendly treat.

The Rex Hotel is very close to the Radmansgatan Metro station just 2 stops out from the centre of Oslo. We so enjoyed staying there last August that we were keen to go back, and this latest visit did not disappoint. We stayed in a standard double room with en-suite which had plenty of space and a nice bathroom. The breakfast room isn't large, but the food provided is excellent and the staff are so helpful. It's an ideal hotel for exploring a lovely city, with a nice homely atmosphere to return to after a busy day's sightseeing.

The bathroom is nice, but the shower is VERY small. For a large person it would be hard to move in it.
