No cleaning of the room even if I stayed 5 days

No hot drink facilities in the room, which for us (with our room located far from reception), this meant a long walk to reception just for a cup of tea or coffee. If you were staying with your kids by yourself or had mobility issues, for example, this would be annoying. The mugs supplied are also very small. In addition to this, you have to ask for milk at the reception, and then wait a while for them to get more from the bar if they have run out. In my opinion, if you are only providing hot drink facilities in common areas, these should be easy to access and use (a machine on every floor perhaps) and well-stocked at all times. On the Saturday during our stay, breakfast was absolutely overrun at 9am. You are meant to book a time slot, but I assume these must not have been adhered to, or was oversubscribed, as it was like a mosh pit on that particular occasion. We also had a weird interaction at breakfast regarding the butter next to the bread. On most days there was a bowl or plate of what appeared to be butter, with a sign reading "100% butter - contains milk", as well as a tub of plant-based spread next to it. One day there were only two tubs of plant-based spread, so I asked for some real butter, only to be told they don't offer real butter at all and that what I had seen the previous day must have been "whipped" plant-based spread. I was too taken aback to ask why it was labelled as butter, but the next day I had a taste of the "100% butter" in its bowl, and indeed, it had the stale aftertaste of vegan spread. I am puzzled why they are doing this, particularly considering a) they provide lots of meat-based products in their breakfast offering including bacon, salami, various dairy products and so on, and b) they are explicitly labelling this product as milk-based 100% butter.

The wellness room (it is quite small) and hot tub are a bonus. I wouldn't say the location is great as it is some way out of the centre, but it is well-connected by ferry in the daytime and bus in the evenings. Cleanliness was fine - they don't clean the rooms unless requested, but this was not an issue for us. The breakfast was for the most part pretty well-stocked and decent quality.

Small things that could make a difference for all guests. Touch up paint on trim in bathrooms. The wood floors are marvelous. Increase the budget to clean/refinish floors especially in dining area. Also, ensure that the available outdoor space is used during breakfast! Clean the decking, widows and tables. Add a plant, plastic or real, to each table and a couple is bigger plants in corners and perhaps a few hanging baskets. On days with moderate temperatures, open the door to the space.

Fantastic location that allows easy ferry travel throughout city to connect with buses and trains. Plenty of available parking in the area for 10Euro daily or less. Reception attendants always friendly and helpful. Quiet room, nice views. Love the art. Excellent breakfast service and options.

Parking is a problem. Booking is removing links from their messages, so it was not possible to book parking in advance. It was difficult to find the place, Breakfast, in my view it was not good, actually bad. Everything was lactose free, including awful whip cream, 'milk' for tea and butter! It tastes like a plastic. Bread itself was ok, though.

Location is pretty good, directly next to the boat stop, with routes to the city. Nice. Hotel inside looks like a jail from american movie. My wife left lift and happily screamed: Shawshank redemption! Nice restaurants in close vicinity.

It is located in a nice area of the city with many restaurant options and very good transport connections for boats and bus. Breakfast is super and if you don't have time to enjoy it, they supply a very decent breakfast bag to go.

One of the rooms was a little run down with peeling paint. Not enough plugs for phone in convenient locations.

Did not like the fact that windows in higher floors open fully. Very dangerous. The first family room we were in was very cramped. When we mentioned this to staff we were moved to a larger room when it came available. Would have been nice to have more choice in the restaurant

When I arrived I asked for the room to be serviced each day. This never happened- I had to go to reception each day to ask for room and towel to be serviced. The attention to detail on cleaning the room was POOR.
