How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The parking was full when we arrived and it is not possible to book in advance but it wasn’t a problem because you can park easily and safely around the streets

The cleanliness of the room could have been better.
Close to the city center and bus station, great breakfast and rent a bike directly from the hotel.

Poor wi-fi connection. The specific type of open shower cabin makes the bathroom very wet.
The hotel's location is excellent—close to Turning Torso, next to a park with children's playgrounds, and a few hundred meters from the coast with a view of the Oresund Bridge. A wide selection of breakfast options is available.

Breakfast was hectic! Too many people and food not replenished. Either understaffed or too many breakfast people pushing and wasting food!
Room was okay and supermarket across the road an advantage.

The breakfast was a bit lacking, would’ve enjoyed more options. The coffee was not that good.
The hotel is situated in a perfect location, close to many areas worth visiting. The room was very clean and comfortable.

Nothing really.
The location was in a not too 'busy' central location but still central enough for us. Our room was huge! So much space. Secure parking. Good breakfast. Good price. Good staff and service. Quite a few people hiring bikes which looked like fun as everything is on the flat with loads of canal/river bridges to cycle over.

We were assigned an accessible room, so the bathroom sink was too low and the water spilled everywhere on the floor when taking a shower. We only stayed two nights, so it was alright.
It’s a bit of a walk to get to the city center but there’s a bus stop right behind the hotel, which was very practical. You can walk to the waterfront in the evening to watch the sunset and see Copenhagen on the horizon. There’s a big supermarket near the hotel. The room was spacious with many hooks and storage to hang your clothes. Breakfast was good, there’s pastries, muffins, fruits, meatballs, eggs, sausages, bread, cold cuts, salads… The staff was very nice, check-in and check-out was fast.

See comments on parking. Otherwise fine.
Part of a chain this hotel lived up to expectations. In a recently developed suburb of Malmo. Very competently run. Nice breakfast - lots of choice. The ginger shots went down well. A relaxing 15 mins walk into town but also close to the sea shore with swimming facilities and places to launch kayaks etc. Parking beneath the hotel but can’t be booked so if you arrive late you probably won’t get a slot. Multi-storey parking across the road too but if you go in the one attached to the supermarket it’s pricey.

The did not change a mascara stained pillow case (we stained it, but still) they just turned it upside down. Plus there was no fridge in the room.
The breakfast was great! Staff is friendly. Overall a good stay

The restaurant staff turned us away since they had a big group arriving for dinner stating that there wasn't enough staff... We were two people and guests of the hotel since a couple of days. We had to go out again to look for dinner. Generally speaking, I'd say they WERE understaffed.
The position is quite central and near the seaside.

The keycard did not work with to turn on the electricity in the room and needed assistance with reception. We were also staying in the accessible room so this was not very reassuring. Eventually it did work but our cards kept on not working for the door and needed to be updated. The room is also quite outdated.
Very extensive breakfast, the ginger shots are also a nice touch. Bed is very comfortable.
