The bathroom was quite dark, going with the general aesthetic of the place but a little more light in there would help, particularly in the shower

A very stylish hotel, centrally located in the midst of shops and restaurants (but no problems with noise). A very comfortable room, dark wood effect with lamps made it feel very cosy. Great breakfast buffet taken in the attached Irish bar, O'Leary's. Very helpful and friendly staff on the front desk.

Our room faced the sun, and it was a heatwave while we were there. We asked for the curtains not to be opened, which they accommodated, but they didn't make the bed, or removed cups, glasses etc on that side. On the other hand, they fixed it when we reported it to the staff. It was all handled professionally.

The whole atmosphere is what you would expect from a spa hotel. Calm, cozy, low-key and with an amazing outdoors area on the fourth floor. We could order dinner brought up from the restaurant, buy drinks, fruit, cheese plates and snacks in the spa.

The renovation has seen the internal surfaces of the hotel painted pretty dark, and the lighting has not been adjusted. The bathrooms and the corridors are quite dark as a result. The font used for the room numbers is no doubt elegant, but I had to look thrice to distinguish a "3" from a "5".

A classic Swedish hotel, of the kind that most regional capitals have a couple of. Room is adequate, a bit cramped for four, but the folding beds worked well. Breakfast up to the usual standard for this kind of hotel, which is not at all bad. An extra plus of the attentive and friendly staff who corrected the issues we had (missing linen for folding bed) quickly and correctly, and otherwise were very helpful.

Wish they had lactose free milk at the breakfast for coffee (just personal preference). Spa was nice but the steam sauna was not working unfortunately and the spa definitely needs a bit refreshening/touch up and more cleaning throughout the night.

Very nice hotel in the center of Östersund. The room was nice and had everything needed. Breakfast was good and the staff were very lovely. Also visited the spa which had amazing rooftop heated pool and hot-tub with wonderful views.

The weekend disco... this was notified AFTER booking. On Friday (and presumably Saturday), it runs to 3am and it is so loud that the room shakes and the door rattles. The room was also weirdly dark - very low power bulbs. I had to use the torch on my phone to find anything in the wardrobe and the full length mirror by the door is pointless because it is so dark.

The hotel is great on weekdays; comfortable beds with plenty cushions; kept clean by the staff; generous breakfast. Östersdund is also a lovely town to visit.

Not specifically ‘about the property’ but with out reservation through booking.com, we requested a specific room. On arrival at the property, we were told that the room we selected was not a ‘dog room’ and that the hotel knew this was an issue and had raised it with booking.com. So we were put in a smaller ‘dog room’ than we had reserved. That was a disappointment — but a reservation problem and both a hotel problem.

The staff were wonderful, helpful, excellent English and delightful conversations made it memorable. The lobby area and seating was large, quiet and comfortable. Our dog was welcomed. Parking was easy, out the back and not busy when we visited in late September. O’Leary’s was a good choice one night for an easy dinner, even if not our fave restaurant (because of all the sports tvs!) BUT the food was good and we enjoyed it. Breakfast was served there—more convenience.

The massage ,spa, and the vibe After not being able to find a gym that was actually open, the reception staff were very helpful and directed me to a run around the lake. This was absolutely amazing. Even if you're not a runner,a walk will be just as wonderful!

We only had a very short overnight stay. Late check-in and very early check-out were no problem, we even could go to breakfast a bit before opening because we had to catch a train. Friendly staff.
