When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

IrelandThe hotel only opens at very specific hours. We were hoping to at least drop our bags and explore having arrived at 12.00 on a Sunday, but the hotel was not physically open until 15.00. We had to wait in a cafe until it opened. More to do with our time planning but important to know when booking.

SwedenFrugal breakfast table, only one cheese etc. Room was not equipped with basic stuff like wine glasses, no bottle opener. No minibar or ice. Room door key was cumbersome to get working, took us minutes to get in every time.
Nice location, friendly staff. Parking close/right outside. Nice dinner menu at the restaurant, food was good and well composed and cooked. Excellent wines for the asked price. I will visit again just because of the great food experience.

NetherlandsFor a 200+ euro room, the expectations were higher. The finishing of the room and bathroom was not to the level you would expect, the TV was not HD and there were no coffee or tea facilities.
The location was superb. Breakfast was good. Hosts were very nice.

United StatesAs an early riser, long before coffee is normally being served, I would have loved to have had a water cooker, cups and spoons to prepare tea or coffee in the morning and a mini fridge to keep perishable foods and beverages chilled. The breakfast waitress kept our organic coffee milk for us in the hotel kitchen refrigerator, which was very thoughtful. EARLY MORNING COFFEE TIP: The Preem petrol station just up the hill opens at 6:30 and has a fantastic Espresso House automatic coffee machine, and really friendly employees!
The location was great for exploring the lovely town of Simrishamn and dinner at the hotel was delicious and thoughtfully prepared by a confident and creative kitchen. We were waited on by one of the owners, Patrik, in addition to other lovely staff. Our room was in the larger and more modern property to the hotel, closest to the sea. Its purpose is for small conference but it would make a lovely location for a large family gathering where everyone could have their own room. In addition this is a very dog friendly property! +++

SwedenThe only small detail i would improve was the curtains- 2/3 windows in our room let quite a bit of light through as the curtains were a bit too short or were too far from window. But I’m very light-sensitive, others might find it dark enough!
Very nice and comfortable. Large room with a very comfy bed. Quiet. Lovely staff and restaurant (food was delicious). We had 2 rooms- one was in another building around 100m away, with similar good standard.

LithuaniaThere is no designated parking space, but you can park next to the hotel in the public parking lot for 2 hours for free at 9-18. It is free throughout the night, and we were out during the day, so it was no issue for us.
Great location next to the harbor of a lovely small fishing town Simrishamn. We had a big room for our family of four facing the sea. The breakfast was not huge in terms of number of options as it is really a small hotel, but everything as fresh and really enough. Also they have a great fine dining restaurant downstairs.
