How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

When we came the parking lot was full, too few parking spaces for a hotel which lies outside of town and mainly have guests arriving by car. However, got guided by the owner to alternative parking on the premises.
Comfortable beds, large rooms. Flexible when arriving late, good information.

The exterior buidling does not look too exciting, but who cares. I am not too keen on plastic carpet in bathroom (prefer tiles), but no big deal of course. OVerall everything was fine. :-)
Located in the middle of a calm residential neighborhood, convenianetly off the E18 highway.. Quite and adjacent to a forrest (or at least some trees, not sure how big). Comfy beds. Easy check in and check out. Sufficient breakfaast.

They had a small kiosk to buy things but had run out of beer and it was a long way to drive to have one. Yes, place is small so they can't have a bar but they could have things like beer for sale legally on site but didn't keep it stocked. Breakfast didn't start early enough so we had to leave before even coffee was available. There was a coffee urn but no one had made coffee and it only had hot water in it. Not a fan of instant coffee so we had to search for a coffee shop in town but only found one at the next town over. The last place we stayed they had a simple coffee machine, filters and a tin of coffee so you could make a pot yourself and have fresh coffee. Simple but solves the issue.
Nice location, very clean and comfortable. Was a bit further from restaurants and beach then anticipated.

The doors of the rooms did not insulate against noise. This wasn't much of a problem during my stay, since all guests were quiet and considerate, but I imagine it could be quite bad otherwise, since you could hear everything that was going on in the corridor outside the room.
The rooms were nice and the breakfast was good. It's a quiet location, and I took some very nice walks along the shoreline when I had some time to spare. I had a special request in my booking which was met.

Breakfast had a limited choice of variety. Rooms need renovation, for example the toilet was using water every few minute
The price was ok, the room was large enough. Electric car charging!

Cute modern hotel close to the lake. A bit away from center, nice quite place. Simple but good breakfast buffet. Free parking.

Lights were really old in the rooms, didn’t give much light. Breakfast was mediocre at best, when trying to open windows there where spider webs on bith sides of the window

The TV in the room did not have many channels or options like a Smart TV. Sound travelled well between the rooms so a bit of soundproofing would help. For the breakfast, there were no warm food options.
Good location close to the lake for a pleasant walk and E18 driving. Large room. Good selection of bread with toppings and yoghurt and cereals for breakfast.

The hotel was perfectly fine nice sized room, clean, the location is nice, in a residential area, with a nice woods on the back. Very quiet. No restaurant on site or close by, but there is a microwave and a fridge aviable.

The room was untieded, towels torn, dust on the heater and furniture, broken floor, shower untieded and yellowstains on bedcover. According to the website the breakfast was supposed to be Continental, i wasn’t.

The hotel was perfect. I especially enjoyed the location. Set back from the road so that there was no noise, next to a forest, where you could walk and the lake was about 200m away walking through the forest. Nearby was an Italian restaurant, a little pricey, but I ate there twice, the pasta was among the best Italian I've ever had. The town itself is delightful.
