Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

SwedenThe á la carte dinner menu could have a bit more options, better portion sizes. However, we had the chance to try the Christmas dinner, and it was a truly wonderful 4 course meal, where the chefs went over and beyond to cater to the special allergy needs of 2 of our family members. The options for such special dietary needs can be a bit disappointing in some cases, but not at Hotel Fjällgården! The special meals were just as delicious if not more than the regular version of the meal.
We loved the hotel’s location, as we were able to hop on our skis first thing in the morning, while getting down to town was just as easily accessible with the little mountain lift. We especially appreciated that our dogs were the most welcome, also meeting many more furry friends during our stay. In addition, we were able to utilize the relaxation area (including the outdoor hot tubs) with no additional cost, which was a perfect way to rest and relax.

NorwayIt was a little cold in the lobby area and the dining room. Could have spent a little more on heating. Live fires is also nice, hope thy do that now and then in the season, the fake stuff becomes weird with the low temperatures indoors that experienced this weekend.
Breakfast was limited but OK, this is understandable since it was off-season and it was communicated in advance.

The location, view, ambiance and staff all were great. Oh yes and the weather helped too. Dinner and breakfast with the best possible view over mountains and the lake. We had a room with the same view, so if possible try to choose a room marked with the view you want. Even the fact that you get a real key is part of the ambiance, it simply all fits together.

SwedenThe limited breakfast was extremely limited. No warm food was available. It's understandable that in the offseason they don't have much, but at least some bacon and scrambled eggs would have come a long way! It was also not mentioned on Booking.com, or their own website. We only heard it via message the day of our arrival. We specifically booked a hotel and not a cabin to get a lovely breakfast and prepare ourselves for long hikes and mountain biking.
Location was the best, in the summer a lot of walks start and end at the hotel. View is amazing!
