Room was quite warm during hot summer day, no air condition. Bed quite soft. Train track just behind the hotel, but did not bother much.

Lovely small hotel, perfect stop on the way from Uppsala to Höga Kusten. Large room. Ok breakfast. Communication with the personnel prior to arrival was easy and no problem with late arrival. Parking by the hotel. Just across the street lovely open air museum/historical area telling about area's old saw industry era.

Shower could do with an upgrade to match the room. The weather was exceptionally warm so a better fan in the room would be better.

The bedroom was well furnished with large double bed, cushions and a small sofa. Breakfast room good and you could use coffee and tea and plates etc when you wanted.

The breakfast was a bit to simply. And during the summer they need better blinds.

The building. Inside and outside. Big room. Nice bathroom. Everywhere is well decorated.

Comfortable bed, plenty of space in the room, nice ambiance in the hotel as a whole, and convenient parking. And the coffee at breakfast was excellent!

The place is very meticulously decorated in a personal style. Nice attention to detail. All rooms have their own personal touch. Common areas such as library and pool-table room. Very friendly host and staff in general

Horrible shower with a curtain that sticks to your body. The bed was not the best as I saw it. Breakfast is a bit simple with not that much to choose from. Scrambled eggs and bacon was missing. I would also like to see Herring.

Very well situated close to the road along the coast. Cosy atmosphere with a room that was enough for me. I like that the size of the hotel is not that big

A good choice of hotel to visit Sundsvall.

The personal interactions with staff were minimal. A bit more of a personal welcome would have been welcome.

The hotel seems a bit run down and odd at first sight, but actually it all works and is clean and comfortable. It’s obviously not in downtown Sundsvall, but Sundsvall can be reached easily from a bus which can be caught from a stop 200m down the road. There is lots of parking at the hotel. It’s an old wooden building in a leafy area. The breakfast was fine - nothing special. Good coffee. The bed was comfortable. We were in the ‘bridal room’, which was a very good size with a sofa.

On the side of main road and road works on the road, so made it tough to walk the dog.

No fault of the hotel, but there was a road construction site to and from the site, so access was a little difficult.

Stayed there during overnight stop on drive from Jokkmokk to Copenhagen. The hotel has charm. The family room we booked was very spacious. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of food choices at breakfast even though the hotel only had a few guests when we stayed there. We left well rested. Would have loved to play billiards with the kids but we had to continue our trip.

What a delightful contrast, staying in a most charming and personal family run hotel rather than in one of the mundane corporate hotel chains! The family room was really special with a tv and sofa area bunk beds and large double. Comfy and roomy. Parking was literally on the doorstep so better than most hotels.
