Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

BelgiumExcellent location where you can easily spend time without ever going out. There are two restaurants for lunch and dinner, game areas, possible access to swimming and saunas. If some basic shopping is needed there is a bridge access to across the road to Stationshuset, where there are shops like ICA (groceries), Inter Sport (good selection and great staff), toy shop and Kicks. A short walk out of Stationshuset will bring you to Åre torg.

United KingdomThe room was a little dated. The curtain pole in the middle of the room was hanging off, light fitting missing and sharp metal exposed near window that scrapped my partners arm. Cigarette butts and bottle tops were under the floor on the balcony. My 16 month toddler was able to lift them out and clean though. Loud music from the concert right next to the hotel until 22:30, so it was difficult to put our child to sleep. Parking is 80 sek per day which is expensive when you are already paying for the hotel.
The location is great. Plenty to do and see.

MaltaThey didn’t tell me I needed to pay for parking at the meter. I am a tourist, I don’t speak Swedish, and all the signs were in Swedish, so I got a fine. The hotel knew I had a rental car because they gave me the keys themselves, and they also knew I didn’t speak Swedish, so they should have informed me about parking rules. Friends who arrived on another day were told about it immediately by a different staff member. Also, the room curtains weren’t complete, and the towels were the worst quality I’ve ever had in any hotel.
The location was great, very convenient for exploring Åre and with beautiful views. The facilities overall were good and clean.

I had to take it out myself and put stuff (banana peel etc) into an outside public bin to stop it smelling. I expected a quick sweep and bin empty, even if there was no bed making or towel change.

The reception staff were lovely and made check in quick and a smooth process. The room allowed you to feel like you were at home with a sofa and chair that created a mini living room which was wonderful and it had a great view of the mountain. The location is perfect right in the middle of the town of åre which allowed us to venture out for dinner and walk around which was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent, there was a lot of choice and truly exceptional bread. There was something for every taste.

The sink drainage is strange; the dirty water runs out onto the floor from a pipe into a drain in the floor. The pool facilities are quite old and run down. Can be very crowded at times in the reception

SwedenThe bathroom was in need of renovation around the shower and there was some hair there when we arrived. I couldn’t book a room for 4 people even though there were 2 single beds and a pullout couch that my youngest daughter and I could have easily shared. The booking app forced me to book 2 rooms and when we arrived we noticed we could have comfortably just had one room! I was an adult travelling with 3 kids so my oldest had to take the extra room by himself when he would have rather been in with us. He is a teenager so it wasn’t the end of the world, but I would have appreciated getting dimensions for the sleeper couch and being able to make my own decision about how many rooms to use. I talked to other families who were 2 adults and 2 kids using 1 room. I was 1 adult and 3 kids youngest 10 and we were forced to use 2 rooms. That is a problem with how the rooms are put onto booking.
The Staff was really nice they gave us a late checkout even though they were fully booked the day we left.
