Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

DenmarkThe heating is a bit difficult to regulate. Too hot or too cold. A bit far from Kabinana Ski Bus station to take Line 702 and 703. It’s tough to walk with all gear uphill to there. Ski Bus 701 stop is near Holiday Club Hotel, but we experienced it’s no show, ended up we took taxi to Kabinbana (~100SEK)
Sauna, Wood fire (free wood and matches), tidy and clean, with all the kitchen utensils, all basic detergents eg dish washer tablet, 2 toilets, drying cabinet, sufficient pillows, blankets, towels, toilet paper for a Couple, great location (lucky to be assigned to Apartment Block 1), relatively near Holiday Club Hotel, relatively short distance to visit the lake, supermarket and airport bus pick up point.

SwedenThe pictures are from renovated ones but it seems that a lot of the apartments haven’t been renovated yet. While the furniture are nice the kitchen and bathroom are very old school. Also, even though not part of the apartment (extra cost), the spa/pool resort is cheap but in need of comprehensive renovation.
Very well equipped, large, close to the slopes and train station. Ideal without a car.

The apartment has a spacious bedroom and a living room/kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is also a balcony and a big bathroom with a nice, Finnish style sauna plus an extra toilet. We also liked the decor.

United KingdomThe cabin we stayed in was on the far side of hotel grounds, so quite a bit of a walk away to lug bags over to. It was also a fairly long walk to the main town and ski lifts. So bear that in mind if you're going to be in boots and carrying skis. There's probably a ski bus you can take, it didn't bother us too much - it's probably a 20 minute walk. Only mentioning it as a negative as I know it will be a deal breaker to some. The cabin was really spacious and comfortable - but that may be because there were only two of us. We each had a room with a double bed. I imagine the cabins would maybe feel a little more cramped with 4 or 6 people.
We stayed in a cabin at Holiday Club Are, and it was fantastic. Really well equipped and comfortable, a great place to stay after a long day skiing, or a night of partying. Situated just next to the lake, the views of the mountain and water / frozen water are beautiful. Each cabin has it's own sauna! The hotel itself offers loads of other amenities, such as Sauna World and the waterpark, a breakfast club, it has it's own Pressbyrån, shops and a hairdressers... an O'learys bar with minigolf... Most of these facilities I never got a chance to use, but it's great they are all there for you. The hotel is literally right next to the train station too, so arriving on the overnight train was very easy.

IrelandIt is a bit of a trek from cabin to the ski lift in the mornings with the skis and boots etc - takes about 20/30 mins to walk with all the gear. Found out on the last day that you can store your shoes in a shop in the village which will save you walking in the ski boots!!
The cabin is lovely! Great space for a group and sauna is amazing. Kitchen well equipped with everything too! Also a shed to store skis/boots joined to the cabin.

LatviaNothing really to complain. Maybe the water pressure too high, everything around the kitchen sink and the shower was wet.
Well equiped apartment, everything in the kitchen, 2 toilets, and one shower, and a sauna, washing machine and a loundry/boots dryer. Felt new. Well sound-insulated from theneighbours. Some 20 minutes walk to the nearest lift and the village centre. The Holiday Club Eatery was expensive and not particularly delicious, better go for the willage to eat out. Main stores and train station 5 mins walk away.

SwedenNOTE: None of Holiday Club services (breakfast, spa, gym, parking...) are included in price, and you get the feeling that the cottages are separate entity, and not really part of the Holiday Club offer.
We cooked mostly at our well equipped cottage kitchen. Nice sauna! and terrace (especially for summer time). O'Learys restaurant and staff there was nice.
