I don’t understand from booking reservation that we will not stay in the main building. The only regret about this it was the restricted acces for spa because we would need to do by car!

SPA remained a mystery. No website/pictures (that I could find) to know if it's worth paying a heavy extra and the lady at the SPA front desk would not let the Mrs and I in to take a look at facilities. Felt awkward so I did not book. Also, I may have missed it or maybe it's common and we're not from around but was surprised that all published outdoor facilities (boat, rope climbing etc) were run by someone else and were for an extra fee.

Great location and surrounding areas - a quick walk to the lake, kiosk, coffee place, beautiful walking trails (full of berries in August!), boat rental, rope park.... [we were there in August, can't say what happens when it gets colder] Pretty interior with a sitting area/couches and fire place next to the bar. Bar tenders were efficient. Wonderful b-fast. Basic rooms. Okay WIFI. Quick check in and check out.

We stayed in a room in one of the houses next to the main building. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to the main building for breakfast, which was fantastic - delicious and many different options. There are lots of things to do around the hotel, like a hike to one of the islands or a swim in the lake. The restaurant in the hotel was excellent too. The staff was overall very friendly.

We indicated clearly that we are coming with a dog, there were no indications of there being a limited number of dog friendly rooms and that they run out. The hotel made me pay extra 500kr for an upgrade to allow me to stay with the dog

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic – a great variety, fresh ingredients, and something for everyone. What really made the stay special, though, was the staff. Everyone was incredibly courteous and welcoming, making us feel right at home. A special thank you to one of the staff members (I guess it was Paivi) driven us to the customer office as there was no Taxi available. Thanks to their quick and thoughtful assistance, we were able to get to our customer meeting on time – which made all the difference. Highly recommend – we’ll definitely be back!

We would have liked more seating available outside for relaxing during the day. There were only 2 benches available and one was in use, the other was not in the sun. Maybe provide folding deck chairs or sun chairs?

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast and exceptionally good dinner served by a charming waitress who perfectly described each dish to us in English. Room was clean and comfortable and in a lovely location, We enjoyed walking both in the evening and during the day. Excellent parking facility. Can't comment on the spa facilities, as we did not use them.

The breakfast buffet shuts down at 10 AM, and cappuccino must be purchased at the bar. So we had to get up a little earlier than we would’ve liked!

This is a sprawling resort property 2 Hours drive north of Stockholm. The walking trails through the lush surrounding forest were nothing less than magnificent. The resort offers every manner of sport, with bicycling, canoeing, kayaking and swimming in the lakes on the property. We also loved the lakes in the surrounding area, where we were able to swim out to a raft 100 yards from the shore. The resort is family friendly and was delight for our children and the friends we traveled with. The food and the restaurant is nothing less than superb, and included a daily breakfast buffet is worthy of a Roman Emperor! There was every manner of breakfast foods imaginable, including six kinds of yogurt, many meats, varieties of jams, sauces, and fruits, egg dishes made wit cream, incredible breads in an all you can eat format. What a great vacation we had.

The shower was really dirty, something that you don’t expect at 4 star hotels. The issue was addressed by the staff rather quickly but it was still not what it was a year ago.

We got a cabin which is located a bit distance from the reception, 4 min driving by car. It took a while for us to find the cabin as we arrived at the night.

Very good breakfast! Plenty of choices for food (both warm and cold), fruits, and drink (juice, coffee and tea). Cozzy environment. Busy and friendly staff. The hotel is in the beatiful nature, with many culture and historical places, sport and leisure facilities for both summer and winter seasons (lake, skiing tracks, etc).

It's a shame that since the place is being renovated, our room overlooked the stand of a crane. Some corridors were dirty with construction dust. Not too cozy and it is a shame that we had this experience for the same price.

The cleanliness was average. Our room was pretty good except for a lot of black mould in the shower and some cups in the kitchen that had been put away with gunk in them. It was also strange to have to make up the children’s beds ourselves- this should have been done before our arrival. The main building is lovely but the floors are so dirty! Everywhere in the bar, restaurant, lounge area the floor is dirty. The chairs are also not very clean (don’t lift up the cushions!!!) Such easy things to fix to make the hotel so much better! Some of the staff were helpful but no one was particularly outgoing or friendly, which was a shame. It would be so easy to have a warm welcome by reception, a nice introduction to the hotel and what was available to do but there was none of that.

The location is beautiful! The suite was really spacious and perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. It was very quiet. The restaurant staff at breakfast were nice.

The site is very large, in case you travel as a group and book different kinds of rooms you might end up 15 mins from each other. We solved it by upgrading a room. Pool access is approx 500sek per person which is far from clear when booking, you need to read the fine print. Shower covered in black mold. I work in facility management so know this stuff and the poor cleanliness is just not ok. The deluxe rooms have gotten a facelift but most stuff is 20-30 years old judging by the old phone sockets and other things remaining. I just don’t see the value for money and won’t consider returning.

Breakfast is fantastic. Beautiful setting, some nice places nearby for walks, runs or whatever you fancy. Good MTB trails.

The “interconnecting” rooms were not interconnecting, they were across a hall with access to other rooms in that hall. This should be updated in the description. The floors were incredibly sticky/grubby/dirty in the rooms.

we arrived at the hotel, then they showed us which house we had to go to. We arrived and there was simply no third place. We lost 1.5 hours of our time. because there was a lot of carelessness and you don't behave well. In the end, the waiter still went and made May's bed himself! It was really a bad experience

Some incoherences. The price range is high for the overall quality. The room was cold. The sauna did not have towels. It was a lot of work as a guest to fix these things, when you are injured even more. I would want to discuss with the staff the incoherence in the food menu, all is local but then a couple of fancy ingredients from the sea…. Also the service at the restaurant was not great. Our waitress complained she had to explain our dishes in English…. This is bad.

I like the setting, the nature and the infrastructure with so much to do around. I liked the kitchen and products produced on site a lot. I was injured and I appreciated the help of the personnel when I needed it.

It’s a nice facility and could have really been a great retreat if staff behavior stepped up a few notches. We had the new suit which is a nice room partly standalone building. We had to spend way too much time having the staff to prepare the bed sofa for our kids. Upon arrival no bedsheets etc available. The food is average and not very exciting. The restaurant had as a policy not to revel the prices for the food when ordering! What a surprise!! Overall staff not flexible, customer centric and have not fully understood that their role should be to make every stay the best possible for very single guest. Where is management? No one responsible and available at site.
