Rooms a bit on small side and not much wardrobe / storage space - not really an issue for a long weekend though.

It didn’t have an elevator. I have very heavy luggage and had to climb three stories to reach my room.

Tiny room - 305 - avoid if you are two people. Absolutely fine for a single traveller or for a single night but for four nights it was a little challenging. We had to live out of our suitcases.

It’s a very old building, although the interior is completely up to date. It does mean stairs are required to get to your room instead of an elevator. Only a minor inconvenience. A fair trade off for all the charm of the building.

Very charming hotel with lots of character. Perfect location for exploring the city. Convenient to airport and central train station. Excellent breakfast.

There was quite a climb up many winding stairs to your room. If you were an older person you would struggle to carry your luggage upstairs but I'm sure the staff would offer to help or you could get a room on a lower level. Our room was very small. My husband is quite tall and struggled with the size of it. It didn't bother me.

Breakfast! The breakfast was out of this world. I am still thinking about it!😂 There were so many organis products, fresh herbs to cut with a scissors, cakes, meats, fish, organic teas...it really was a fantastic start to every day coming from two foodies! The staff were phenomenal apart from the main lady at breakfast who seemed to bully the other younger staff members. The staff all in all were so helpful and friendly and welcoming. The bar was so cosy. I really loved lounging the chatting to the staff and reading the books there after a long day walking. The location was amazing! Right beside the train station and 5 mins from the beautiful old town. I loved it! The interiors were out of the world. We are building a house at the moment and I took so many pictures. I love interior design so I was really blown away by all the little touches! Bathrooms were stunning! Everything was just perfect and so clean and cosy. I cannot wait to come back!
