The sound proofing between the rooms is not very good, but it is not bad enough to keep you awake. The elevators are painfully slow.

A good breakfast, very good value for money and pleasant rooms. While not in the city centre, the metro station is about 1 minute away and it is a short ride to get to most tourist locations. The apartments are clean and well maintained.

The Rooms could do with some modernization and decorations. They are fairly basic and bland. We would have appreciated some pictures on the wall. Also the cleaning of the staircase could be improved.

The Hotel is very easy to reach as it is next to the train Station. This also easily allows to explore Stockholm without a car. And the breakfast is amazing, it has a great selection and is perfect start into the day. Our 2 room apartment was fairly spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay with 2 kids.

The bathroom could definitely use some renovation, it was quite worn and felt a bit dirty. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, soft and it was creaking whenever someone moved a bit. Noise isolation virtually nonexistent in the building, but we were lucky as our neighbours were not too noisy.

Compared to the quite cheap price it was quite decent, we feared that it will be much worse. :-) The size of the apartment is just good enough for 4 people, the location is perfect, basically at the metro station, plus on the other side of the metro there is a big center for shopping and fast food. Also the lake on that side is only a few 100 meters away and quite nice. The breakfast was also quite ok, not hotel quality, but decent. And we didn't even thought that they will serve breakfast as it is more like an apartment house.

Some slight marks on the wall behind the pillow which could do with a touch up. The breakfast room was very cramped with nowhere near enough tables. You either had to wait for a table or share a table with strangers no matter the time. Not sure if this was just a very busy time at the hotel. Breakfast was relatively limited and the same on a daily basis consisting of watermelon, melon, orange, lettuce, pepper, cucumber, smoked ham, smoked turkey, 1 type of pate, 2 types of cheese, boiled eggs, a few flavours of yoghurt, 3 or 4 cereals, coffee, juice, variety of bread and hot drinks. Could have done with some cooked food or even some pastries/pancakes etc. Rooms weren’t cleaned whilst I was there. If you wanted the room to be cleaned once every 3 days, you had to pay an additional fee. Also a lot of warnings in the rooms to state there would be a fine of 16,000+ SEK if the fire alarm is accidentally set off when cooking. - made me a bit nervous to make any food

Less than a 3 minute walk to the metro and a less than 15 minute trip into the centre. Facilities were good in the room- plenty of storage, power sockets etc. small kitchen with kettle, hob, microwave, pans, plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery. etc. The staff at the breakfast were constantly replenishing the buffet, even towards the end time of the buffet. When staff had been to change a light bulb in my room, a note was left to confirm they’d been in. Staff were helpful and friendly. Reception area was clean. Loved the key less entry. Never had to wait long for a lift. Pool table available as well as children’s play room. Shower was plenty powerful. Never had any issues trying to get hot water.

Very uncomfortable bed, small and soft so every move you felt like its either going to break or you're going to fall off During the first night someone set off the fire alarm which is right above the kitchenette and we all had to wait outside for the firefighters to come. Noone from the staff was there to offer an explanation or apology

The only negative experience was related to an early departure. Since we were leaving in the middle of the night, we asked a couple of days earlier for a breakfast package to be prepared in advance. Although the hotel agreed, the package never reached us. We were later told that someone had apparently taken it from the reception area where it had been left, and since the kitchen had already closed and had been cleaned after a private event, nothing else could be arranged. Unfortunately, the receptionist was rather unfriendly, suggesting that we should simply buy breakfast at the airport. He even pointed out that because we had booked through Booking.com, it was not really the hotel’s problem — implying it would have been handled differently if we had booked directly through their website. Considering that breakfast was included in our booking, this was disappointing and unprofessional.

Overall, I had a good stay at Forenom Hotels & Apartments Stockholm Alvik. The location is excellent, the breakfast was tasty, fresh, and constantly replenished by the staff. The room was clean and comfortable, and the internet worked well.

Do not forget to bring earplugs if you like to sleep with the window open and plan your time for having breakfast, it can be quite busy.

The apartment had everything that I needed. The check-in was easy to follow. I was happy the gym was there and the breakfast was a nice start of the day. I had a nice view from the window.

The property wasn’t pretty clean (for example some plates, glasses and forks at the breakfast restaurant were dirty, towels in the room had stains…)

The elevators were sometimes difficult to use due to traffic. That led us to wait a lot, especially during the morning. Also, we stayed for 6 days, and would have definitely appreciated an extra set of sheets/towels.

Very clean, modern spaces. Wonderful breakfast. Very helpful staff. And incredible location, only 1-2 minutes to the metro.

One area that could be improved is the cleaning, particularly in the bathroom — we noticed some mold that should definitely be taken care of.

We had a great stay overall! The location was perfect — just a short walk to the tram, bus, and metro, which made it really easy to get around Stockholm. The neighborhood felt cozy and quiet, with a supermarket, pharmacy, café, and clinic all close by, which was super convenient. The property itself was modern and comfortable. We especially appreciated the free laundry facilities and the very good breakfast, which added a lot of value to our stay.

The two uncoordinated main elevators, and the lack of signs to make people use the alternative elevators going to the 11th floor. As is everyone is clogging in the wildly inefficient main elevator system, and the waste of time and energy is mindblowing.

Building is next to a train junction and a 4 lane road, so there is quite a lot of noise with open windows at all time. Older furniture - extendable sofa was screeching with every movement.

Despite being outside the very centre of Stockholm, the property is a two-minute walk from local transport, with quick access to the city. The local area itself has a supermarket, other shops and lovely waterside walks. The breakfast buffet is amazing and constantly topped up by the busy staff. Everyone working there was very friendly and helpful and it is a very good value place to stay.

Look of the Room was old. Car Parking was an issue, not much help from the hotel in this regard. Room was like a stove in the hot weather because when we stayed it was 27 degree in the day so even the room was hot during the night. Although they provided small table fans but those were not enough.

Location was good due to a main nearby rail/metro station. Staff was cooperative. Room was Clean upon arrival. Even customer service responded ontime.

Some people may be disturbed by the noise when a train or metro passes by the nearby metro station.

It is close to public transportation. The aparthotel is spacious and clean. The breakfast is very good and fresh. It was absolutely worth the money.
