The family room was around 5-7 kms from the camp location and there is no grocery store nearby so come prepared. It is still worth it, as long as you plan ahead.

Its a nice cosy place with the most beautiful view. We enjoyed the midnight sun :)

The charge for the linen, bed linen, and towel package came as a bit of a surprise — probably overlooked by me in the very short-notice booking we made.

Title: Incredible Arctic Experience – Stunning Location & Warm Hospitality Our stay at Camp Caroli in Jukkasjärvi was truly unforgettable! The house is beautifully located at the edge of a lake, offering breathtaking views. Upon arrival, Stefan had already heated the cabin for us, making it warm and cozy. As soon as we looked out the window, we were treated to an incredible northern lights show – an absolutely magical welcome! The next day, Stefan took us on an amazing trip to the mountains, where we saw a herd of moose up close. Later, we explored the frozen lake and surrounding forest on snowmobiles, which was such a thrilling adventure! In the evening, we relaxed in the wood-burning sauna, which was perfect after a day out in the cold. To top it off, we went for another snowmobile ride at night, which created an incredible and almost surreal atmosphere. Stefan is a fantastic host—very welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. He made sure we had the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a true Arctic adventure combined with comfort and stunning nature, Camp Caroli is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

everything was perfect. The house is perfecty located just in front of a big lake (frozen during winter time). The view from the house is wonderful. The house is warm and well equiped. if you are lucky, you can observe northern lights from the house and just in front of it from the lake. Stefan welcomed us warmly. We also enjoyed a lot the activities booked at Camp Caroli (dogsleeding and safari excursion).

Everything. I can only recommend staying there. The family house is the actual family house of the team behind camp Caroli and it feels right at home. It’s a dreamy cabin at the end of the road with a view directly on the frozen lake. You can’t beat this location. And don’t get me started on the northern lights. It’s the best place to see any. And we saw many! And on New Year’s Eve! Honestly we couldn’t have dreamt of a better way to start 2025. Go at Camp Caroli! The team is super nice, it’s a family run business and you can tell as they make you feel part of the family as well. All the activities are wonderful and well organized. Just pure polar bliss. The house is warm and comfortable. Even by minus 25 which is the temp we got when we were there. The kitchen is big and nice to cook in. And the bathroom has all you need. Just a perfect place really.

Location. The cabin was overlooking the frozen lake. We were lucky we had two nights of the northern lights for our 2-night stay and considering it was a weekend. From 8 PM to 5:30 AM! Stefan was accommodating. I have already recommended this place to friends and colleagues. We would not mind going back.

Stefan met us at the property and was very welcoming. The property is very cosy with an amazing view of the lake.. beautiful to wake up to. We stayed two nights, seeing the aurora borealis for one of them.

The location is perfect, it's very secluded within nature and by the lake, inside the house you can see the lake from every angle. The house is extremely clean and it feels like a home. We are already planning to come back here again. The host is very kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here. This place deserves 10 stars 🤩

Beds were a bit hard for adult sleepers, Kids said that for them those were ok.

Cabin was tidy and recently renovated. Aircondition was nice in the summer. My husband enjoyed fishing (got few perches and pikes but we Released those back) and we liked the view a lot.

We stayed at the family house for 2 nights…should have stayed longer ! What a beautiful spot, right by the lake, with wonderful views and walks at your doorstep. And Stefan was truly helpful and kind. Can only recommend !!!

We loved everything!!

My friends and I just enjoyed one of the best experiences of our life with our stay at Camp Caroli. We stayed in family cabin and it was truly perfect. It was spacious, cozy and comfortable. We especially loved sitting in the living room drinking coffee after a cold day outside. Waking up each morning to an amazing view of the snow, the frozen lake, and the raw wilderness was breathtaking! We experienced many great excursions thanks to Amanda who set everything up for us. She was extremely helpful and was always available to answer questions through email or phone. Stefan, our host, was absolutely a super star. He picked us up from the airport, took us grocery shopping, and drove us to all of our excursions which included dog sledding, the ice hotel, and our quest to find the perfect spot to view the northern lights! He was very accommodating for all of our needs during our stay. This was a dream vacation come true for us! Camp Caroli and Stefan made our bucket list dreams come true! Thank you for an amazing adventure!!

The location of the accommodation is right next to the lake and has a very nice view. The host was very supportive, he guided us to view the Northern Lights and also helped us to get the stuck car out of the snow. The snowmobile ride was very enjoyable...

Well designed and perfectly equipped recent cabin . Magnificent views from all sides on a large and beautiful lake. Stefan is a very attentive and friendly host.

Bed linen wasn’t included in the price, luckily we had some of our own and only paid for 2 sets. We also had to make the beds ourselves. Location wasn’t according to the map, but the host met us by the other camp Caroli and led us further away. Calling the host about arriving was a bit extra comparing other cabins.

Outside fire pit was a nice suprised and firewood included. View and location was amazing.

Amazing location, in the forest by the frozen lake. If you're lucky you can see the lights right there! The house is very nice, simple, warm and comfortable. Perfect if you want to experience the Swedish Lapland at its best. Stefan is a very nice host, he will tell you everything he knows!

Could be better with basic supplies, such as coffee filters and toilet paper, which we needed to refill ourselves.

The cottage is situated at a lake with a great view. Perfect location both for a summer and winter holidays. We had a great view of the aurora right from the cottage. During the winter season the hosts have a nice offering of activities, such as snow scooter driving, dog sledding, a safari tour and more.

For six people the bedroom is a bit tight.

Amazing location next to the lake, reindeer were passing the house, which connected us with nature. There was also an option for sauna. Definitely recommend this place.
