Only complaint the bathroom shower curtain was mouldy, and need replacing, and the bathroom sink was not fully attached to the wall. I guess thats the only oversight that is easily fixed.

Staff seemed confused at times, it wasn’t obvious that the place was not a hotel but a group of individually owned properties with central facilities & management. So it was surprising that we found locked wardrobes & cupboards in the apartment which we couldn’t access.

The “hotel” that manages the privately owned apartments is the worst part. The apartments are not cleaned to the standard that they should be. There is nothing to explain to you how anything works in the apartments. When we arrived the dishwasher was not unpacked and the microwave had splattered food all over the inside. The dinner buffets are heavily over priced, there were only mains, no starters or desserts. There is also very little indication from the website just how self catering the properties are. When booking it comes across as a “hotel” with apartments, but the only thing they provide is linnen and towels, everything else you need to bring.

You cannot beat the location. It is a beautiful and quiet West coast retreat area. The properties have amazing views and it is a perfect place to relax and unwind.

Even though, a lot of things are just amazing it would be great to have air conditioning because it would be hard to stay in those houses if the outside temperature was 30C. For breakfast - it would be lovely to have more stuff and to fill the breakfast quicker. The breakfast time is 8.00-10.00, we came around 9.00 and half of the food was gone and not filed. The waffle station- you need to have two waffle irons, perhaps only in high season as waiting 25 minutes for a waffle is ridiculous. Waffles were amazing but it takes 7 minutes to make 4 mini waffles and if you are in line with several people and they usually take 2-4 waffles- you have to wait for 20-30 min to get your 2 mini waffles. They are amazing and everyone wants them so please add another waffle iron :) The only real horrible thing was the restaurant food. The prices are really high (which is understandable to keep the place up float) but sadly the quality is not there. And the prices would be ok if the quality of the products and the meals would match it. That is the only thing that really really needs fixing.

Amazingly beautiful place. The view from the house is just breathtaking. Probably the most equipped rental house I ever saw. Starting from tons of spices and dishes / cutlery in the cupboards to ice packs in the freezer and mini coolers. Love that the balcony has proper and comfortable furniture. Breakfast was delicious though small. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Good communication. The mini spa (pool, jacuzzi and sauna) was fun. The view is amazing and it’s great that they limit people in the spa (I assume 3 couples per time slot). If we stayed longer it would have been fun to rent a bike or kayaks :)

the restaurant- it used to be great food back in the day, but now it’s more like a gourmet restaurant and not a good fit, considering it’s families staying with children. portions are tiny, the ingredients have a weird combination and we really didn’t enjoy the food at all. you come hungry, you leave hungry.

we’ve been coming here for almost ten years and it’s always wonderful.

This was a really wonderful place which I would highly recommend to anyone being a family or a couple but if I'd have to put something here I'd say I noticed sometimes not everything was translated in English. For example, in the restaurant we didn't get an English menu but I think the garçon may have mistaken us at first for Finns and so maybe gave us wrong menu's 😄. Anyway nothing Google translate can't handle.

I liked the stunning lake view from our cottage very much. The garden and whole area around the property is kept very clean. The sauna on the lake was also a unique experience, a must do.

We hadn’t really understood that it was more of an activity centre and therefore not so good for a stopover. No kettle. No washing machine. No welcome pack - i.e. no tea bags, washing up liquid, tea towel, etc and no shop to buy anything from.

The restaurant of the hotel is overpriced. The breakfast is so-so. Parking lot is far away from the site.
