The breakfast did not live up to the rest of the hotel and was not well organized.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The hotel is calm and relaxed and so relaxing with lots of places to sit and enjoy the ambiance! The spa was also really relaxing and simple. The food is excellent quality in the restaurant and the breakfast exceptionally good!

Nothing, it was great! Maybe a little heads up to people who like very modern design - this hotel is more on the rustic side. We loved it and it’s history, so this is more a note for people who really like very modern settings.

The hotel is very cute & comfortable. The room was spacious and the bathroom was nice too. The restaurant staff was lovely and took great care of us too, both in the mornings and evenings. Finally, we booked hot stone massages at the spa, which were super relaxing. Alexandra did both of our treatments and she was very attentive and made sure we walked out of there in a halo of relaxation and bliss 😁. There was also a gym, which I really appreciated after a few days of not being able to work out while traveling! All in all, there is clearly a lot of care put into the hotel, which we appreciated.

The stairs to go up to the room were not so easy to handle with luggage. But it is a beautiful old building...

Clean, comfortable, great location, quiet, beautiful old buildings and garden, excellent breakfast and wifi, great service, good parking, great spa with heated outside pool! Excellent value! We also were given a free upgrade.

The rooms felt aged and slightly retro, but it is expected in a historic hotel. Presumably they are reasonably protected by historic status, however they felt like they could do with a little bit of updating.

Lovely historic hotel with a new clean spa, an exceptional restaurant, exceptional hospitality. The food and drink here were a definite highlight.

When they suggest you get reservations for the restaurant, they are not kidding. The entire neighborhood comes in for dinner. Wonderful food and ambience.

The only small mishap we had was a misunderstanding regarding times for spa treatments, but that didn't affect our overall happiness with our stay.

We had a nice stay here. Our rooms were upgraded to junior suites, which was a lovely surprise! The gym and spa were clean and tidy. The heated outdoor pool was great, especially since we happened to have great weather. We enjoyed the breakfast that had plenty of options.

The room was small and dated and the bathroom was in need of refurbishment. The hairdryer was one of those ones attached to the wall and pretty much useless. I know you're paying for the whole experience and not just the room, but I expected the room to be alot nicer for the price we paid.

Extra bed (sofa) was terrible. Beds in general weren’t comfortable at all. On top of that the person next door was snoring so badly that the whole relaxing stay turned out to be quite the opposite.

Just a shame we were here when the renovation for the main swimming pool indoor was going on. It was therefore not accessible.

Fab breakfast, everything you can imagine they have. The restaurant is top notch! Very tasty food beautifully presented.
