Everything - Amazing quiet location with beautiful garden and „private“ beach.

Nothing, it was all GREAT!!!

We loved it here. The apartment we had was very big and had everything we needed for our family (of 4). It had a large kitchen, which we used every day, and had 2 bathrooms/toilets for the 2 bedrooms! (which made things very comfortable). It had 2 outside eating areas, perfect for breakfast and dinner. We knew we couldn't swim at the beach there (Southern part of the island), yet we enjoyed watching and listening to the waves rolling in. The view out to the sea was undisturbed and lovely. The small pool was great for a quick dip, and the relaxation hut by the beach allowed for daily yoga/stretching/exercises, and refuge from the rain. Our hosts (Manuela & her mother) were very welcoming and knowledgable. We rented a car (as per Manuela's recommendation) from the airport and drove there, which made things much easier as it would have been more challenging using the bus system. We drove around the whole island, stopping at most beaches and loved it. Coming back to the Desaubin Villas was always a great end to the day, having the children (& us) jump in the pool and chill on the beach till dinner time. We felt totally in nature there, the birds tweeting in the morning when we had breakfast outside on the patio, and they have 2 really friendly dogs there who always came and greeted us. We celebrated a birthday there and we were recommended a cake shop at the airport and it was very good. It was the perfect start to our 3-week vacation of the islands. Truly a great place, we are so happy we stayed here!

Most colorful place with so many verities of flowers and plants. This itself will give you more positivity. this place is far away from the city. so, grab whatever you need to cook and stay get it before you reach. pets are there with beautify peacock, rabbits and old turtles makes you feel livelier. kids will enjoy their stay. pool near beach is the best part. Beach is not meant to gets in as rocky and very high tides. But thats the main beauty of this place. You will find lot of fruits and you are free to eat. Special thanks to Ms. Manuela and her mom they are very kind. Car is must.

The place is like something in a travel magazine. It’s beautifully decorated and right by the beach. The outdoor shower was wonderful. You’re able to walk around the yard and see turtles, rabbits and different birds. We will come back here.

Our stay here was exceptional, truly the best hosting experience we've had on Mahe! The property is ideally located, just a stone's throw from stunning Grand Police beach and a short drive to other incredible south-side beaches. Our room was perfect, featuring a fantastic bathtub and a delightful outdoor shower. We also appreciated the fully equipped kitchen, perfect for whipping up meals, and the convenient access to a lovely little beach directly from the property.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the villa. Everything was wonderful—from the stunning sea view from our villa to the exceptionally delicious breakfast we had upon arrival, and the peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay. The property is very eco-friendly, with great care given to turtles and other animals, which we deeply appreciated. But what really made our experience unforgettable was the amazing, friendly, and caring staff and owners.

Everything! The Villa was big, it had a bathtub and a nice terrace. The stuff was super friendly and takes good care of you and the environment as well. The private beach is beautiful to chill but not good for swimming. Breakfast was delicious - mostly fruit and vegetables from their own garden. Also they have an air to water machine which turns the air humidity into drinking water 💕 you’re allowed to refill your bottle with that!

Just a minor thing - the bathroom doors are transparent and even if around the accommodation is a picket fence, once is dark outside, can be visible the indoors.

This accommodation is very special, it felt like a fairytale. The villa is so charming, a small beautiful beach laying a few meters from your balcony, in the morning I met the turtle preparing her nest to lay off eggs (a very special encounter), quiet place, only the nature sounds, you can see the sunset from the beach, eco friendly environment, nice staff, beautiful garden. Everything was more than great. I have recommended this special accommodation to friends and also hope that I will have the chance to come back and stay longer than on this occasion (I wished I could have stayed more).

The breakfast 18 eur could be cheaper, the same at La Digue we paid 9 euros in Coco de Mahi.

The place is beautiful. Just beautiful, the view from villas is awesome. The host and stuff are so kind. The villa is ver spacious and comfy. Just perfect!

I don't even know what to write. I'm so excited about my whole stay at Domaine Desaubin that I already know I'll be back. It started with our arrival, when really tired from the trip, we were pleasantly welcomed and immediately accommodated by the madam who owns the whole place. She didn't ask us for anything and even though I wanted to go pay right away. At the time of our arrival a turtle was just about to lay her eggs on the beach. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, well worth the money without a doubt. The place has such a vibe that I already miss it. The whole team of people who take care of the resort was absolutely friendly and ready to help with anything we needed at any time.

We wish we had booked a longer stay initially 😒

The location was ideal, very peaceful and laid back which we both loved. The facilities were fantastic, couldn't fault anything. Your villa was open plan with small kitchenette with fridge freezer, which led onto the bedroom/ sitting area. The view from the bed to the balcony was accessed from door or retractable bifold door the breadth of the front of the villa. Storage, safe and sink at the back of the main sleeping area which led onto the free standing bath and toilet. Another set of smaller bifold doors gave you access to the outside shower area at the back of the villa which was in closed with bamboo fence. Our stay at the villa was made very special from Polaz ( he was everywhere and was always at hand with any issues or requirements), Madame Lena and her daughter Manuela who managed our wonderful and peaceful stay at the villa, Marlena and all the other members of staff we didn't meet. Excellent stay thank you very much and wish to return again in the future. 🫶

A beautiful and well appointed villa with its own private beach. You can’t really swim from the beach, but there is a pool to cool off in. The owner was very helpful and staff were very responsive to any questions we had. They have some giant tortoises and babies that were fun to see. Turtles also come up onto the beach to lay their eggs.

Nothing to notice, just keep in mind you need a car to go there and to go to supermarket or take away. There is a take away nearby who deliver food directly to your house if needed.

All, the house are very big and convenient with kids, the garden and swimming pool are very nice in a wonderful environment, and the beach, even not swimmable is so beautiful. Even saw a tortoise the first day!

It’s a pristine property situated right at a beach with a wonderful garden. You can see turtoises and peacocks, which was very nice for us. The owner of the property makes your stay even more comfortable and let you feel welcomed.
