Captain's Villa is a tastefully decorated place reflecting the authentic style of the isalnd. The wonderful Anse Forbans beach is only a few steps away from the villa. We also enjoyed the surrounding lush greenery with the lovely sound of the birds. Amanda, her family and her team were all very welcoming, kind and helpful. We received lots of useful information, recommendations and nice maps to explore Seychelles. My Mum loved her beautiful flower bouquet made for her birthday. We would like to say a big thank you again for everything, we had a very enjoyable stay! We wish this great family-run business to continue flourishing.

Had just a short stay during our last 2 days in Seychelles. We found a welcoming place, with a very clean room (hotel-style, as we didn’t book self catering option). One of the most beautiful beach of Mahe literally across the street (pictured). Amanda and staff members were welcoming and helped us during our stay. Bus stop nearby, but a car would be needed for groceries and such. 25 min drive to airport. Shuttle service provided by staff for 50€

Our ground - level room has not that much privacy, people literally waved or come to us talking from nearby rooms while we’d like to chill.

Room was excellent and the breakfasts were really good. I had an evening meal one night and it was very good. The beach was very close by

A lovely small hotel with a beautiful garden, just steps away from the stunning Anse Forbans beach across the road. Staying here feels more like visiting friends who truly care about your comfort and know how to cook delicious food. Amanda and her husband prepared local fish for us in different ways — each dish was absolutely tasty and full of flavor. Breakfast is thoughtfully served: guests can choose three options from the menu, and a fresh selection of local fruits is brought to your table first. Amanda was also very helpful in arranging a rental car and recommending great places to explore around the island. This place has a warm, welcoming atmosphere — a perfect choice if you want to feel at home in paradise.

Cleanness, daily water, good bye gift

This accomodation is marked as 4 stars, however the breakfast ( very limited selection of food, no buffet option) does not meet the standards of 4 stars. Unfortunately' the bed was very small and inconvenient. When after the first sleepless night I asked very kindly the help of the lady at the reception to give us an extra matress or another room with two separated beds, I did not receive any help just a not possible answer. Only after I posted a negative google review about this guest house, we were offered the next day a bigger room.

Defently I recommend Captain's Villa. We had an amazing time there, the host was lovely and very helpfull. The room was very clean and confortable, the breakfast was delicious, everything fresh.

Captain's Villa is a fantastic place to stay! The villa itself is beautiful, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast provided was excellent. What truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality of the owner, Christine. Our group was quite large, consisting of four families totaling 11 people, and Christine was incredibly kind and helpful in assisting us with organizing our stay. Her willingness to go the extra mile made our trip so much smoother. The beach in front of Captain’s Villa is wonderdul. Highly recommended!

The suite was perfectly fitting for our needs, within walking distance from a private beach. The room was very comfortable. The staff was super welcoming and warm.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful place. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. The check-in process was quick, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay here! :)

Our apartment was beautiful and we loved our quiet but also convenient location. It was walking distance from Anse Forbans beach and Double Tree Hilton hotel. The hotel restaurant is open late until 10 pm and our daughter was able to use their gym for a small fee. WiFi was excellent and we especially liked our big bathroom with an excellent shower!

I liked that it was clean, comfortable, friendly staff and friendly atmosphere. It was 2 min flat walk to a lovely beach, safe for swimming as it is inside of a reef. It's off from the more busy parts of Mahe so the road didn't have much traffic. Good price.

I couldn't have expected more in that category.

We were greeted very friendly. They gave us a refreshing drink. They immediately settled us comfortably in the rooms. The beach is right in front of the house. Incredible beauty, crystal clear water, millions of fish at the first step into the water. Soft and clean sand, green coconut palms, it is difficult to describe in words. You have to see it for real. I highly recommend staying there for at least a week. Within short distances by car you can find many beautiful bays, like this one. It is incredible. you fall into another world.

Christine was invaluable and hospitable over the whole stay. Our return flight was in the evening, and we were allowed a late checkout without any extra fees. One evening, we had dinner at the hotel; it was very tasty - recommended! If you stay there, a car is practically a must to get around - different beaches, restaurants, etc. Our favorite beach was Anse Royale, 7-8 minutes of driving. Very good restaurants are Lo Brizan, Perri's Grillz, and Le Reduit - all within a 10-15-minute drive distance. For something simpler and inexpensive takeaway (but very tasty nonetheless), Koko Zerm is a good choice, a few minutes walk from the villa.

We stayed in “Swan” which is the 2 bedroom villa. It was a beautiful 2 floor apartment. Aircon in both bedrooms 2 bathrooms and a small but functional kitchen with electric stove. Convenient location we had a car and drove all round the island but there is also a bus stop about 100m from gate. You could watch sunrise on the beach with is approx 50mins from apartment. Wonderful staff and hosts extremely helpful and full if local knowledge

There was nothing we didn’t like. A suggestion would be to have a more comfortable seats on the balcony but that is because we were out there morning and night.

Nice and open space hotel, clean, good service from Jeanette as she organized a rental car for us even though we didn't stay there the first part of the Holiday. Nice breakfast. beach just across the road, and it was nearly empty, close too the shop.

I had a wonderful stay at Captain’s Villa in Seychelles! Christina, the host, was incredibly helpful, kind, and considerate, even accommodating a late check-in at the last minute. She went above and beyond to help with organizing car hire, which made exploring the island so much easier. The villa itself is lovely – affordable, clean, and of excellent quality. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would highly recommend Captain’s Villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Seychelles. I’ll definitely be coming back

Lovely, comfortable accommodation. Good food. Host was extremely accommodating. Beach is lovely.

Beach is rather shallow for swimming, before rocks/coral. A small pool on the property would be exceptional 😊

Good location for those who prefer calm relaxing vacation (the car is absolutely needed, there is nothing exept one take-away and small shop accessable by foot) Very beautifull territory - the yard with lot's of flowers, very tiny and fresh The apartments itself are equipped with everything you will need within your stay Beautiful Anse Forbans beach just in front of the building, where you will be almost lonely most of the time :-)

In the late evening we faced abscence of hot water from time to time, but I suppose that it actually not a problem or some kind of an issue. Just "seychelles water heating feature" :-) cuase we actually faced it almost in all apartments where we have lived on Mahe

Everything was just great: Christine is a very good and kind host, the room was great and very clean, airco worked perfect, the terrace just lovely, breakfast delicious, not too much, but definetely enough. Beach just across the street and it felt like a private beach as nobody was there. The transfer to the airport also great and cheaper than what we paid when getting to our (previous) hotel.

It is really nothing not to like about as all was fine.
