You might (!) have difficulties to get there in case of big traffic jams at the border, one room was used by a smoker before

Hotel is just next to the border to Hungary and hence very quiet, surrounded by a beautiful park, indoor swimming pool, friendly staff, breakfast with service at the table

It’s an interesting place, the building looks like a castle, the room was huge with a beautiful terrace. Although the furniture is old, it is visible that many years ago it was a luxury hotel, it still has spirit of luxurious. Looks like nowadays there are not many visitors, there were just couple of more cars at the parking. The hotel is living the hard time now, which is absolutely pity, because it’s wonderful, just needs some investment.

A charming hotel, a fairytale paradise, right at the entrance, right by the border, offering excellent prices and free amenities like a swimming pool, air conditioning, ample parking, and free breakfast. Driving from Hungary into Serbia, we crossed the border, rested overnight, and then drove to the capital, Belgrade, the next day. When you start your trip to Serbia, you must cross the small "Tompa" border. Don't cross the large "Rőszke" border, as it's very busy and requires a 60-minute wait.

The hotel itself is quite old and you can both see and smell that. It's a pity the restaurant is not working, it would be so nice to sit at the terrace for lunch/dinner and drinks. Hopefully the current renovations will bring some good things along.

The room was big and clean and the staff was really friendly. I asked if we could get a lunch box because the breakfast was starting too late for us. They were willing to try and organize that even with us leaving before their kitchen opened. We settled on just coffee and a nice lady made me a really good cup of coffee at 6am 😊

Few bugs got into the room but that was expected because of the weather and season.

We loved the pool and the food mostly, but everything else was good. Location is isolated and quiet. There is a park and small lake just beside the hotel, where we enjoyed walking. Beds are clean and comfy with good bedding sets. Hotel provided us with everything...bathrobes, towels, slippers etc. Room and bathroom were clean and comfy. We enjoyed the pool mostly. Water was nice and warm. Pool is well designed and clean. They got us extra towels for the pool. Food is very nice and fresh and portions are big.

Breakfast was really poor. We ordered club sandwiches and they were really dry and tasteless..Coffee was also not so good and together with the coffee we got tap water although there are signs all over hotel that tap water is not safe for drinking. It suprised us because we were om the wedding the night before and food and coffee there were excellent. Also, rooms need some renovation

It’s not very clean, location is very tricky because the centre is 15 minutes away. Also we needed to keep turned on air conditioning whole the time, it was very cold.

Staff was very helpful and polite. It was peaceful and the pool was great.

We’ve got dozen of bites from various bugs that were in the room, including mosquitos since there was no mosquito net on the windows, and they were kept open before we arrived. Our baby ‘earned’ over 15 bites from mosquitos and other bugs that were in room or in bed. A very bad experience.

I stayed at this hotel 6 years ago, and you can see that the years went by… Needs a bit more attention to details of cleanings and services since it’s supposed to be a 4 stars hotel.For example, ee had to change room because the bedsheets were a bit wet when we arrived. For breakfast there wasn’t much of choice, not international. The only sweets we found was bread with eurocream (which is like Nutella).

Restaurant closed, upon arrival (at 19:00) we could only order pizza for delivery :/ Beautiful hotel, but quite dirty, need refreshment. Breakfast only served, very limited menu choice.
