How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Small bathroom
The best owners you can ask . Excellent value for money . Clean . We stayed for a night but people are wonderful . Price is very low for a stay with private bath .

I just stayed here for one night - near the Hungarian border. I park the bike in the garage. The smaller bed has a harder mattress, which I like. There's an equipped kitchen. As a wet motorcyclist, I appreciated the hospitality of the hosts (rakija).

Quiet neighborhood little garden with nice sitting area, very nice coupe of owners, garrage for motorbike and a matress in my bed helped me sleep like baby

You feel as at grandma's house. The owners (the elder couple)very nice and warm. Everything very clean and cozy with a dose of elegance of luxury hotels. If you like peace of village cottage you would enjoy to stay here.

Very first shop requires a longer walk to get to
Nice little house in a quiet neighborhood, with a beautiful garden and very hospitable hosts :) They know English and are always ready to help or have a cup of coffee with guests. Beds are comfy and kitchen has everything you need. We even got slippers. There's also a bus going to town every half an hour

It's not very close to the center, but it's not a problem if you have a car.
Great place to rest from a long journey, kind, responsive and hospitable hosts, excellent internet, comfortable beds, lovely garden. Everything corresponds exactly to the description. Very good price-quality ratio.

If you looking for a privacy and comfort, this won't be a good place for you. No private bathroom. Also, the ratio value/ price is so-so, such room should not cost more than 13-14 eur/ night with booking fees and taxes. If you want to sleep well (good bed) and have some talk with friendly hosts/ check the local situation, this place will be for you. But if comfort and privacy are more important for you- this wont be a good place.
Its a room on the ground floor in house where the owners/ hosts also live, located around 4 km to the center of Subotica. If you want to experience, see and mengle with the local people (hosts), this place will be for you. The hosts are very helpful and friendly, lady speaks some English. There is also nice garden with various fruit trees and various animals: dogs, cats, chickens :) etc You may also buy some local specialities :) straight from the hosts at affordable price, which is great. The bed itself was comfortable, proper hard mattress that provides comfortable sleep. WiFi also works. Water from big refillable water is provided. Parking is very easy - in front of the house :) , as its on the outskirts of Subotica.

I liked everything, but maybe if you could rent bicycles it would be even better, as busses only go every 40 minutes.
Nice room in the outskirts of Subotica. Very quiet neighborhood. The room and the bathroom are clean and the host is very nice. The host actually prefers you to pay in euro, but payment in Dinar is also possible. The host speaks English, besides of course Serbian and Hungarian. There is a common garden. WiFi works excellent. The bed is comfortable. Little supermarket is in walking distance. However for exchange money, cafe, restaurant, big supermarkets you need to go to the center. Walking will take you more then one hour (6.5 kilometers). There is however a citybus 3 running every 40-60 minutes from 5:00-22:00 hours. A ticket for the bus 120 dinar, pay in cash at the driver. From the railwaystation: walk direction postoffice to the Maksima Gorgog / Segedinski Put to the busstop Nova Opcina (close to the tunnel under the railway). Wait for bus 3 direction Makova Sedmica. Get out at the stop Slovinov Put (one stop before terminus). From busstation walk direction center/trainstation at the Sencanski put 800 meters to Maksima Gorgog/Segedinski Put, same busstop Nova Opcina. Bus 3. Inside the busstation you can eat cheap with a set meal at 'Kantina'. Around 600 dinars for a meal. Not open sunday.
